I think what he means is that once the heated moment has passed you recognize how pointless and dumb those feelings of vengeance are; therefore, after the heated moment wisdom speaks and you realize not to pursue such endeavors

And how many of these Africans were shipped directly to North America? Only about 388,000. That’s right: a tiny percentage. And their treatment in North America was considered the best followed by the Irish slaves and then finally the Muslims slaves who were mistreated the worst. Only the Muslims hacked off the genitals of the male slaves and murdered their mixed babies after raping them.

And lest you forget, it was Christians that organized to end human slavery over much of the world with Muslims strongly resisting.

It was Christians who finally rose up against the practice of human slavery and stamped it out over much of the world and did so while Muslims strongly resisted them. Saudi Arabia, for example, didn't even outlaw the practice until 1963 though it's still practiced there. In fact, The Government of Saudi Arabia (the birthplace of the central religious text of Islam) does not comply with the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking and is not making significant efforts to do so. Saudi Arabia has moved from Tier 2 to Tier 3 because of its lack of progress in anti-trafficking efforts, particularly its failure to protect victims and prosecute those guilty of involuntary servitude.

But to answer you theologically, Islam condones human slavery and the mistreatment that Muslims engaged in and still engage in to this day: Christianity does not. So when Muslims engage in such behavior, they are simply following Muhammad and being good Muslims while when a Christian engages in such behavior they are doing so in direct violation to the teachings of Christ and showing themselves to not be His followers. See the difference? It's a BIG difference.

There are many millions of black American Christians. How many would be muslim (and lost), and also living in abject poverty, if slavery hadn't occured? Does it mean slavery is evil? YOU BET!! Israel have always been close to my heart, that country, delights me in some way and i even want to go there smday..To be honest, i am quite dissapointed with that news and could not understand why they do that. Maybe they doing that because of anger or smthing? May God forgive all of them tho. That kid totally dont deserve to be taken his life like that, nor does anybody. May God forgive them.
Everyone, not just Israelian, make mistake in life..But, i hope that we stay strong in whatever challenges we encounter or situations like this wherever we are which maybe can stir our faith in God, even a bit. Let us bring situation like this into prayer. Satan can used many things to distract us, remember that. But,we need to keep in mind too, that God's love to us never change. Human is human, we make mistake.
