we hear quite often in our culture cries of 'God is unfair!'
or 'my' god would never.
yet we all instinctively want justice. (hence the accusation God is unfair. :) )
if someone wrongs us or those whom we love, we want to know there will be justice,
and to see justice done. evil must be punished, and in the core of our beings, we know this.
we want it.
but...

if you don't want a God who tolerates evil, you have to have a Wrathful Judge.

if you don't want a Wrathful Judge, you have to have a god who tolerates evil.

can't have it both ways--even our redemption was paid for because God will not tolerate evil.

The Passover certainly was one of the shadows of the real thing that was to come. Why do you think the Lord gave us these shadows? To make fun of them and toss them aside as having nothing to do with the real thing? Have you ever tried to cut a shadow off from what it was a shadow of?

You can thumb your nose at the shadow all you want, for me, I am going to listen to scripture when it tells me to.
We are not making fun of the shadows but rather understand that since we have the real thing, we are no longer under the shadows. It's unfortunate that some Christians impose Sabbath-keeping and whatnot on others even though Colossians 2:16 clearly says we shouldn't judge each other on such matters. Christ fulfilled the shadows, He is our Passover Lamb. See Hebrews 10. God's instruction for the Israelites to apply the lamb's blood on their doorpost foreshadowed Christ's perfect sacrifice, and also displays His love for us. Those who are cleansed by the blood of Christ escape God's wrath to come.

Post #10 was excellent, by the way. :)

Uh, the Sabbath is the shadow of the Millennium. Is the Millennium here already? When did it begin?

I simply cannot understand how the Holy Spirit can tell you that because we have the real thing we must not be "under the shadows" as you express your belief in pretending the shadow is not there.

When we talk of what scripture says about Sabbath keeping, both for and against, we are saying what we believe scripture says. It is not "unfortunate that some Christians impose" , but I agree there is a lot of judging of persons here and that shouldn't be.

And be sure to read Colossians 2:16, it doesn't say we aren't to judge about keeping Sabbath. Keeping Sabbath is even in the tenth commandments and no scriptures is against directions from God. It is telling you not to judge by the day chosen to keep it. When we were given scripture, it was also given that it is from one God with one voice, we are to keep that in mind when reading it.

Col 2:16 Therefore, don't let anyone judge you in regard to food and drink or in the matter of a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day.

How did you arrive at the conclusion that the Sabbath is the shadow of the "millennium"?

Real Sabbath rest is in Christ and one enters into it by faith. Also, believers have the liberty to worship God any day with clear conscience.

The end result of sin is death, be it spiritual of physical its death nonetheless.

In the bible God always gave people a long time to repent of their evil and wicked ways.

We need to understand that when God chose to punish the wicked, it is justified in every way. God Commanded Israel to exterminate the Amalekites, down to the last man, child, woman and beast - but when put into context the Amalekites were wicked people who plagued God's chosen for 100rds of years with war and disease. They were warned to repent too. God allowed an evil nation to last MANY generations because...

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Now to understand why God would do this....we need to understand the Person of God, first its God the Father, then the Son then the Holy Spirit...3 but one (Trinity on other threads explained, so please stay on topic)

First and foremost God stands in as a Father...

What Father in his right mind would allow evil wicked people to torture and hurt his family especially children? If you as a father or parent were to stand and watch how your child is raped, or tortured, would you not to want to take action?

Now moving ahead in time, Jesus came and died for our sin, He's the intermediary in our existence between us and the Father, so the way God used to avenge injustice done unto his people has changed in that Jesus, is the one we go to. And a new Covenant is in place, but the wheels turn and the time of death "Armageddon" will come again, and history will repeat itself, not through a flood but through fire.

A Father is a Father. And God is our Father.

Tried to navigate through it but it has a lot of reading to go through, a few pages actually... do you have a summary somewhere?

You cannot somerize something when the whole of it is the truth and no part of it can explain the whole. Read it all and then summarize it yourself. It is after all about the chosen ones, not because they were more in number than others but because they were the fewest of them all. They were to be his teachers and this they failed to do. Instead of loving your neighbor they murdered their children instead. They FAILLED to follow His way. That is the summarized version.

Ok, the real summary. It covers a time line from the time God talked to them all the way to the here and now.

The following is why they are referred to as an abomination because they MURDER CHILDREN IN COLD BLOOD calling it self-defense

The deliberate killing of children goes on and on and on But the above is never reported in the US press. Americans cannot understand why the Palestinians cannot get along with the Jews of Israel because the citizens of the US are shielded from the real TRUTH

Next you will post Palestinians with bombs straped to their wasts blowing themselves up taking others with them. Don't bother, two wrongs do not make a right (:-

The site is incomplete and needs your feedback to complete it. Times change and the site needs to reflect this. Send me your feedback on page 16 and changes will be made. If something needs to be deleted or added, it will.
But now, October 18, 2013 I personally have seen the change.,.,,.,.,.,.,.,...,.,.
Only it was in the USA, not "Israel". The promised land turns out to be in the USA, not someplace beyond the river.
And the promised land is flourishing, prospering and multiplying.

They be gathered from afar j

There is another side to this. We have no right/authority to "judge" God right or wrong. God gave a choice, be good to others and you will feel the goodness as well. Choose the other side and darkness will follow. The choice is ours to make, make it wisely (:-

When we talk of what scripture says about Sabbath keeping, both for and against, we are saying what we believe scripture says.

The presence of God is there but scripture was written by persons and while some scripture was inspired by Him some was not. For the human mind "wrote" scripture, some words for the good and others for the bad. It is our choice to choose the path we take.

just a thought (:-

do you have a summary somewhere?

WHY THEY WERE CHOSEN

(Deu 7:6 KJV) For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu 7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

(Deu 7:8 KJV) But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

(Deu 7:9 KJV) Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

((Deu 7:11 KJV) Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

(Deu 7:12 KJV) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

(Deu 7:13 KJV) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

God chose them to show us the way. By example, by following His Commandments and expressing the love for the stranger as we all should love our neighbors. It is spelled out in scripture, all you have to do is read it and do it and then it will be done.

(Lev 19:34 KJV) But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God

They were chosen to show us the way, to show us how to treat the stranger, how to be compassionate and loving to your neighbor and by doing so peace would envelope the world.

The question today is, is "Israel" complying as instructed, yes/no-?

I await your answer (:-

Today they worship their idol by way of the Pulsa Denura

This is how a Pulsa Denura is performed
There they entered a darkcave, where one of the holy men placed a copper tray on a rock and lit the 24 black candles he'd placed on it . As the mystics circled the candles , they chanted the curse seven times calling on the angels not merely to visit death upon "???????,"but to ensure that his wife was given to another man.

That done, small lead balls and pieces of earthenware were thrown on the candles and the shofar was sounded. "The black candles," explains Yediot Aharonot journalist Amos Nevo, who documented the ceremony,"symbolize the person being cursed . When they're put out, it's as if the person's soul is being extinguished. "Lead, he says, is for the ammunition in the war against the curse done, earthenware symbolizes death, and the shofar opens the skies so the curse will be heard.
