To glitter, or not to glitter...that is the question!

These are called "Calming Glitter Bottles". You're supposed to give them to children who need to calm down, but honestly I think it would help me relax, too. I kind of want to make one in my new place. It's a mixture of...stuff, I'm not sure exactly what, but there are tons of recipes online. You shake it and then watch the pieces of glitter float and swirl, until they settle, and by then it's supposed to have soothed your mind/nerves a bit.

ETA: Though, MissCriss, I could totally see you just continually shaking it while yelling "GLITTEERRRRRRR" :D
 
i pretty much want a pair of these in red, green, and black. and pink. and white. sigh.

Hmm, not a big fan of glitter (takes cover), but being sprayed with it on a boring school day sounds nice

When I was in the USMC, there was this dude who desperately wanted to get out and claimed he was gay (this was before "Don't Ask, Don't Tell") and he took gold glitter to his combat boots. This reminded me of that. He eventually got out, but telling the story here would be a bannable offense.
