2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Strong delusion is a hard thing to get rid of because you don't know you have it.

1 John 5:1-3 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

Do you believe God sends strong delusion to those who love Him and are keeping His commandments and believing in Jesus?

Revelation 14:12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

I don't believe he does. The strong delusion is for those who don't love him and don't keep his commandments.

No, I don't. God breaks us apart in order to rebuild us into Christ's image, but that particular passage (the top one in your post) is talking about those people who don't love God's truth. There's a huge difference.

You are probably one of only a few here who believe that.

Do you love and follow what God defines as true?

Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law is true.

Do you back peddle and try to do away with what God says is true or change it to fit what you say is true?

The same old things...... Everyone here believes that most here is in a state of delusion, except themselves. Delusion is for those who do not love Him and keep His commandments. But what commandments are to be kept? Only love! Outside of that is the curse.

Oh how great is the banner of love for it allows all things in without God's Law.

Can a gay man love his neighbor as himself? Yes he can! Law fulfilled! But in this delusional state, you believe somehow that you are better than the gay man because you like women and the natural order by appearance. Therefore the curse is poured upon the land because you do hate and therefore murder your gay brother in Christ! For you too will die knowing to be guilty in one point of the law in stone you accuse the gay man of violating, you might as well have been guilty of it all. That means you might as well have been gay for all God cares! You're guilty by testimony of the grave you are headed to where there are more than enough witnesses and accusers.

That is why we must understand what the commandments are!

And I am not saying this to be offensive, but for ALL who have eyes to see and ears to hear.. Love is patient, kind, long-suffering.

Now look at the curse on the land at work. By the law of death written on stone we murder/hate all those oppressed/that have broken the law. Take the gay man.

First, you are dealing with a system that functions and prospers off of scarcity, separation, fear and death.

How many gay people do you think there really are in the world considering that we are now at 7 billion people knowing that 2 sticks don't mix a baby??

But the system using what was supposed to be the good of the law to its advantage, has the Christian and Muslim world in an uproar as if homosexuality is spread like a virus!

Let's look where you get your news from. The tv? If you all don't know people, EVERYTHING you watch on that tube is ENTERTAINMENT. It's Hollywood! The news caster wears makeup and reads scripts just like your favorite movie stars!

So the TRUE purpose of highlighting gays is to keep us separated in hate (main rule of war is divide and conquer), and to PROFIT off of the business it generates!

It covers sins, not expose and accuse. That is what the devil does. Therefore love fulfills in all circumstances. If two gangs are shooting at each other and one side is willing to put their weapons down regardless of if the other side does, it is only so long that the side still shooting will play the fool.

If only you could hear yourself. You are trying to say I don't love the person when you have no idea how I feel. You are trying to draw in an argument that does not exist in order to draw people away from the true issue here. You think you have light because you believe love is the all in all but love is a neutral force that must be defined and controlled by God. How great is the darkness when you believe it's light. That's delusion 101.

Matthew 6:23 But when your eye is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

It's pretty easy to see the sin in another man... not so easy to see it in ourselves.

No one is pointing out sin here or condemning anyone so stop trying to make an argument where there is none. What is being shown here is that love must be defined and controlled by God, period.

What image are you in? Is love then defined by you?

Do you understand the verse you quoted? Imagine a closed box that light cannot penetrate. What is in the box? Darkness. Now put even the slightest light inside that closed box. Is there any more darkness in that box? If so, then how great that darkness must be!

It is the same with us. We claim we see God, which is light but see Satan, which is darkness at the same time. We cannot bless God from the same mouth that curses men, who are made after the similitude of God.

Now if I can EVER get someone to answer the example of what darkness and Satan is, if you/Christianity were to see a mighty miracle done in the name of Jesus, how would you react???

But if you see THE SAME miracle performed by a Muslim in the name of Allah, how would you respond to that?

THIS is your darkness and Satan. The work/power should have spoken for itself, but the Christian will say that the Muslim is of the devil, and the Muslim will say the same about the Christian and his miracle.

But if Satan casts out Satan, how CAN his kingdom stand?? It won't, and it will fall like lightning.

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them,

John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified (changed) through the truth.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee,

that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

it also happens that those who -don't- love God or believe in the jesus of the bible yet -think- they please God by 'keeping his commandments' are strongly deluded...

The strong delusion referenced in 2 thessalonians is directed at those who have rejected Jesus. The strong delusion is that they will beleive in the antichrist and the false prophet instead of the Living God.

I don't believe he does. The strong delusion is for those who don't love him and don't keep his commandments.

The strong delusion is for those who would not receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH...do not add to the word as it doesn't say anything about keeping his commandments in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 as tied in with the strong delusion.....!

Strong delusion comes on ALL who do not put their faith in Jesus ALONE. Believing OSAS, the Rapture , the literal 1000 year Millenium will eventually cause a person to be cut off and the powers of hell will completely consume his life. THAT is the strong delusion that God will send upon His rebellious people.
