Take Him at His word! Believe what He says! Believe the record God has given of His Son! I can imagine some of you saying, "I want to, but I have not got the right kind of faith." What kind of faith do you want? Now, the idea that you want a different kind of faith is all wrong.

Use the faith you have got; just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Not only that, you can't give any reason for not believing. If a man told me he couldn't believe me, I should have a right to ask him why he couldn't believe me. I should have a right to ask him if I had ever broken my word with him; and if I had not broken my word with him, he ought to believe me.

I would like to ask you, has God ever broken His word? Never. My friends, He will keep His word. God condemns the world because they believe not on Him; that is the root of all evil. A man who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ won't murder, and lie, and do all these awful things.

Don't get caught up by that terrible delusion that unbelief is a misfortune. Unbelief is not a misfortune, but is the sin of the world. Christ found it on all sides of the world. When He first got up from the grave, He found that His disciples doubted. He had reason to cry out against unbelief. "[/FONT]
 
Wow Richie this post actually came to me at the right time. I have been losing faith it seems because I am just not sure how God shows himself, which might be because of the fact that its only been a year or so for my walk. I want to see more and it can get kind of confusing when you don't know what to watch out for.
 
God will never leave us, it's true we need to pray constantly, it just takes one thing to happen to us and we hit rock bottom on the rd to losing faith. Times like this we must pray with all our hearts!! As I grow in my spiritual journey this is one thing God is CONSTANTLY reminding me, keep praying!!! Always always always....
 
I really like this. I'm new, and just beginning my walk. I've always struggled with having faith, if its real and how to make it real in me. But just to believe, that what Jesus said is the truth and he doesn't lie.

I've been exploring this a bit more, about my faith and what led me to start my journey. I've been reading the Bible everyday, and its hard to explain - just a different feeling. I've read some, on the blogs and in different places, that you don't choose God but God choose you......I'm a little confused now.
I never grew up with religion in my life, but always seem to have a little voice telling me to search and believe. I don't know if this makes sense. I've always tried to live good, not steal or do harm onto others....its like I know what is good, but I don't do it. I seem to give into my desires - wanting what I want. So I guess that is the sin part, and I don't know what happened. Its like I just came to, and here I am.
I'm just so unknowledgable on this way of life, the Bible and everything - basically ignorant.
 
Please remember, your faith, trust and love for Jesus will be tested. You will go through trials & tribulations with Him. And they could go on indefinitely. There are so many posters who lost faith, trust & love for Jesus, and often wonder why He won't answer their prayers or why He allowed this & that to happen to them. In other for Jesus to walk with with you, one must learn to walk with Him. He will never turn His back on His faithful children.

God bless you friend, and you know you are right keep seeking him and you will grow more and more in love, everyday I love him more and more it's crazy!!!

Oh and God is SO great! Look around you at all the beautiful things we have every day.. aren't we lucky?? Seriously this universe is HUGE! Amazing love it :)
