ok so i was listening to the radio this morning on my way to work and someone asked the question....

WOULD YOU DATE YOU???

and if your comffy with it then let us know the reasons why and why not...

Frankly no.

For one, i'm not homosexual.

Secondly, I don't have the qualities that I would look for in a significant other, and if I HAD those qualities I wouldn't need to have any sort of relationship. If I dated myself, i'd be constantly butting heads with me...Dunno really how to explain it honestly...Just wouldn't work out.
I am me, I need to be with someone other than me. A separate person who is different, but I can still relate too and ask for advice/help I couldn't give myself.
 
I would Because I would like the same food and theme experiances I would be totaly fun to be with, I like being with me.
 
a few months ago i would have said no, but due to lots of growth and a self esteem thats not so low could now say that I would be ok to date. many faults of course but I would be a challenge (not in a bad way) but then hey i am single so maybe thats not the view of the men I have come across lol.
 
No, because I'm mean and angry and will destroy you on the spot and enjoy it. :D

I want someone sweet and gentle and loving. We all want the opposite of each other really. Opposites attract and all that.
 
I would totally date me!! Im cool, fun loving, family oriantated and I LOVE GOD!! My soulmate would have to have many similar qualities as me to enable us to spend a lifetime together.. And the differances? would just help make the balance :)
 
the real question is "if you could go back in time, and have a relationship with yourself from the past, would you?"

and the answer is very clearly "wait is that gay, or just really vain?"

Lol I feel vain saying this but yes I would date myself. I genuinely love God and people and don't depend on others for my confidence.
 
Nope wouldn't date myself right now anyway.lol.I'm totally messed up from my last marriage.I wouldnt wont to put anyone threw anything or a burden onto to them,i'm just not the type to do so.Some people it doesn't bother them, they step right in and want to help you threw things in a relationship. But i'm not type to allow that when life is a mess, just not fair to another person ..lol.Maybe down line i might because God has a hold of me working in my life VERY strongly.
 
I would date myself if I were a girl...or if it were a girl version of me.
 
Isn't the idea that you are supposed to find someone that compliments you and makes up for you deficiencies? If so "Would you date you" is a moot point.
 
I would date myself- im funny, smart, experienced, and interesting. I basically look for myself in relationships anyway :)
