The bible is written in parables and symbolic language. It is written that way to conceal the mysteries of the kingdom from the world and to reveal it to us.
Using the verses below, I want to show you how to learn what the symbols mean.
New wine is a symbolic phrase used in several places in the bible. Acts:2 gives us the meaning of new wine. New wine is the Holy Spirit.
Now, since we know the meaning of new wine when we see it mentioned in other places in the bible we don't have to guess as to what it means. Now apply that to the book of Joel.
