Did you know the early church never went into a Barnes and Noble and bought a bible?

What does that have to do with serving God? Why do you resist Christ? Paul told us what Christ told him to, in that, the day we worship doesn't matter, as long as we worship God. Do you think Paul is lying? Do you think he wasn't tutored by Christ? You think we should just tear out the pages that Paul wrote?
Paul was a Sabbath keeper along with Jesus and the early church.

No duh. Christians originally gathered because of the day Jesus rose. They went to the synagogue on Saturday and then met with Christians on Sunday. Christians were expelled from the synagogues and so they met on Sunday together.
And then Santa Claus came to town and had a big fight with the Easter bunny now everyone worships on Sunday, the Venerable Day of the Sun. I think the Tin Man gets a heart somewhere in there too.

Many of the pagan beliefs and practices were mixed into the Christian faith and are still part of that fallen system even today. This was all prophesied by God years ago so that His people would not be led astray.

You miss the mark entirely on this matter. Jesus and Paul went into the temple to preach to the souls that were there. To tell them the wonderful message of God that the Messiah had come to save His people from their sins.

The Sabbath change, from Saturday to Sunday, had to happen because God prophesied it would. In order to make this change happen there has to be some tweaking of Scripture to get the people of God to fall for the change, which the Bible was tweaked and the people of God did fall for it. The early church never gathered on Sunday, it's a delusion.
God people in the old testament did gathered on sunday (First Day) and saturday( sabbath). Jesus resurrection on sunday, the Holyspirit was given to the Disciples of Christ on a sunday, Jesus show himself again 8 days later the following sunday (first day).Paul and the early Church, break bread in remembrance of Christ on Sunday the new Covenent that God Himself promise. Why are you trying so desperately to make the first day of the week seem as something wicked? Sabbath is sabbath, & the first day is the first day (sunday) but thee belivers did gathered assembly on both days. The Disciples of Jesus Christ worship Him on a sunday ,why Jesus Himself did not tell them to wait till sabbath?

Luke 24: 52And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: 53And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread

Exodus 12:6 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

The Past Over Feast

Leviticus 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

New Testament

Luke 24

The Ressurection

1Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

Road to Emmaus

13And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs

The Ascension
(Mark 16:19-20; Acts 1:6-11)

50And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. 52And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: 53And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

They broke bread on the first day to remember our Lord and Savior, and the new covenant that God Himself Promise. Now what i really want to know ask you directly ,Scuba what did Messiah (Jesus Christ) do on the Sabbath that was diffrent from the rest of the week? What did he do particually diffrent from the rest of His ministry? Jesus alway told the pharasees and scribes the truth so that nothing new, so what exactly did he do on the sabbath that was diffrent from the rest of the week? He did the will of the Father 24/7 yes ?

God Bless

All the above are Pagan practices...

scuba...do you not worship God on Sunday?
or is it wrong to worship God on Sunday?

That's what you've been taught to believe. Read this very carefully and notice how the Gentiles begged Paul to teach them again the next Sabbath. Why wait a whole week? Keep in mind how this was years after the resurrection of Jesus. If the Sabbath was changed to the first day this would have been the perfect time for Paul to say something, but he didn't. As a matter of fact almost the whole city came together on Sabbath to hear the word of God that means the Gentiles went out all week inviting people to church for Sabbath fellowship. Non-Jews gathering on Sabbath? This made the religious Jews jealous and caused them to oppose Paul. These are some very important details so don't miss them. Also notice how these Sabbath keepers were encouraged by Paul to continue in the grace of God. God's grace does not do away with the Sabbath day.

Acts 13:42-45 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.

No, he met on the first day.
The words, day of the week, are not in the verses you quote to prove they gathered on the first day of the week. The word that should be in place of these four words, "day of the week" is one word and it's the word, "Sabbath". Remember, God's times must be changed because God prophesied it would happen. In order for it time happen the Bible must be tweaked to sway the whole world in the direction that Satan wants them to go. He has been doing this for years so don't be surprised when you see him still doing it.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Notice how they gathered in Acts 20:7 on the first Sabbath. Paul was leaving the next day (Sunday) so he spoke even to sunrise (Sunday morning). He left for is journey and traveled all day Sunday. If Sunday was the new day of worship Paul would have been in church because Paul attended church every Sabbath.

Scuba thread title: Did you know the early church never gathered on Sunday?

What day does petecost fall on?

Acts 2:1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

The Church was actually establish on this day , when God poured out His Holyspirit and 3,000 Jews responded to peter great sermon, and his first proclamation of the Gospel.

Acts 2:5 Now there were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.

Acts 2:41-42 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

After they recived the Good news and the Holyspirit, what did thee belivers do everyday after petecost.

Acts 2:46-47 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

What exatly did the church do the entire week and weekend, From the first day till Sabbath. What did Jesus do on Sabbath that was diffrent from every other day in his ministry ? He walk everyday doing the will of the Father 24/7 so what exatly did He do that was diffrent from the first day till sabbath?

Did you ever wonder why 3000 Jews were added? It was an OT issue when God gave a certificate of divorce to Israel. It was prophesied that there would be a great return to God. Return to God is very important to understand. These Jews were once God's people but they left and never returned until Pentecost.

Jeremiah 3:8 I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery.

All these special things that happened does nothing to change the seventh day Sabbath. A Jew returning to God would never forsake the Sabbath. The Sabbath including the Law will be taught during the millennium. The Law and the Sabbath are not going anywhere.

Paul was a Sabbath keeper along with Jesus and the early church.
Acts 20:7 (ASV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] And upon the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, intending to depart on the morrow; and prolonged his speech until midnight.

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (NIV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
[SUP]21 [/SUP] To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

Sabbath NEVER became Sunday, that purely in the made up theology of the Adventists minds and their so-called prophet Ellen White.

We worship on SUNDAY, because Jesus rose from the Grave on Sunday. The First Fruits of many resurrections to come; and the Festival of First Fruits was ALWAYS celebrated on a SUNDAY.

Leviticus 23:10-12 (ASV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest unto the priest:
[SUP]11 [/SUP] and he shall wave the sheaf before Jehovah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] And in the day when ye wave the sheaf, ye shall offer a he-lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt-offering unto Jehovah.

Seeing as it is nearing sundown where I am, happy Sabbath everyone. We can all argue about Saturday/Sunday worship, but I believe we should all fellowship on here instead of debating and arguing.

It's always refreshing to hear someone who loves God and expresses that love through faithful obedience to the commandments of God. This is what God is looking for in His people. Nothing less, nothing more. May God bless you and our SDA brothers and sisters in the Lord this Sabbath day.

Jesus taught every Sabbath, that was His custom. It was also Paul's custom and the early church's custom.

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.
