How about just believe the words and verbage used to describe their actual SIZE instead of spiritualizing it away to context which can BE INTERPRETED as GIANT MEN......
Go to Chicago and get lucky enough to see the SKELETONS of MEN that WERE GIANTS......WHICH are kept hidden from the public.....GOD FORBID something that is found to be shown if it gives credit to the bible....
You are a big boy....the above 4 statements are found in various form and or verbage....Look it up yourself as I have no problem with the interpretation........!
David was no giant. The oldest biblical manuscripts make him of smaller stature. He grew with the retelling.

We don't need metaphor. There is another explanation to account the large stature. The following is from The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible [1999] by Abegg, Flint, and Ulrich:
The next passage illustrates how ancient narratives sometimes grew at the hand of narrators or scribes. 4QSam (LXX) gives the height of Goliath as "four cubits" (equaling about six feet), and this is what the original Septuagint, followed by the historian Josephus, also records. Later Septuagint manuscripts read "five cubits," and the Masoretic Text, followed by yet later Septuagint manuscripts, reads "six cubits" (equaling about nine feet). (p. 228).
So there you have it. The original text gave Goliath a more reasonable, though still large stature for that time, of six feet.

The head of Golitah's spear weighed forty pounds and he could throw it how many yards. How far can a 6 foot 280 pound man throw a spear who's tip was forty pounds. Most sledge hammers are less than twenty.
Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam, and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels (15 pounds); and a shield-bearer went before him. (1 Samuel 17:7)
Not sure where you saw that the spear point weighed 40 pounds, fifteen is heavy enough. In any case, did you note how Goliath's height increased in the telling. His height grew from 4 cubits, to 5 cubits, to 6 cubits. The original text says he was four cubits (about six feet tall); big enough for the early Iron Age.
I guess you prefer the later biblical text because it makes for a better story? That’s likely what the scribes who increased his height thought as well.

FACT: The recorded height of Goliath increases from 4 cubits, to 5 cubits, to 6 cubits in successive scribal editions of scripture. Why? The obvious explanation is that as normal stature increased (perhaps as the consequence of improved nutrition) six feet no longer sounded remarkable. To make up the shortcoming of the text some scribe increased Goliath’s height to 5 cubits. Over time, his height was increased to 6 cubits as male stature caught up to the story. Sound reasonable? I think so.

Can you source the photos of these giants?
National geographic, and other archeologist societies posted these findings.
Then after posting, national geographic recanted and said they didn't find giant skeletons. And in this recant they had the words of the man that made this photo;
That it is a fake, but no evidence of the others I posted being fake. The man that made this photo said that at the time this photo came public, government officials were going around confiscating any pictures and papers of written and drawn accounts of what these people saw during digs.
Plus even though they are not of enormous size as the pictures I posted show. Skeletons in Wisconsin, as well as all over the earth have been found of humanlike beings ranging from 7' to 10' foot tall. Most of these finds have been covered up, and the skeletons confiscated.

The reason Goliath's height has been changed in text from 4, 5, to 6 cubits is because scholars could not agree on his height.
The reason for this is because a cubit is not an exact measurement. It's measurement is used from taking the length of ones arm from their elbow to the tip of the middle finger. Because of the different heights and lengths of people, depending on what person or society their cubic measurement came from made up for different measurements.
Fact: cubic measurements in/of Egypt, Israel, and other cultures were different lengths.
Most scholars have determined that the Jews through out history used a measurement of between 20.6 in. to about 25 in.
Now if you take these measurements into account that would put Goliath anywhere between 6'9" to 12'5" tall.
The issue of course comes from the different cubic measurements through out time, so even at the smallest cubic of 4 he would still be a person of tall nature.
20.6 x 4 = 82.4 / 12 = 6. 866666.. ( 6.9 )
25 x 4 = 100 / 12 = 8.33333..

I believe the Nephilim were real but nowhere near as large as those 'skeletons'. More along the lines of Goliath's height, maybe a little taller. Those photos look fake to me, like clever sculptures for a movie or something. No good comes of posting this nonsense as 'evidence'.
None of this makes any sense. Why would anyone want to cover it up? You have to remember that many people who do this research are Christian. I have to do some research on this. I am absolutely certain someone knows were the original photographs are, minus the tiny people; but then the conspiracy theorists would only claim the tiny people had been photo-shopped out. Oh, here's another possibility: the skeletons are regular size but the tiny people really are that tiny. The government is concealing the fact that these munchkins live among us.
Again, without physical evidence there is no reason to take any of this seriously.

In the article the creator of the doctored image explains how he made the image. He took 2nd prize in a photo effects contest. Below is the link to the contest page. He was not part of the hoax.
