I heard an interview with an ''eyewitness''.
What she said made this look like a bad cop.
She did have a lawyer with her during this interview, I believe with a CNN reporter.
She also mentioned she contacted the police...and the media after the incident.
Hard to say what really happened. If what she said is true, it might be murder. Kinda hoping there was a dash cam in the car.....but if there was, ya hafta wonder why the cops are not using it.

I had to read the accounts and piece it together like everyone else, of course. I wish I was being paid by the government instead of the poor self-employed private sector Christian citizen I am.
The welfare's going to get severely curtailed in about a decade David. Just the annual interest payments on the skyrocketing national debt will exceed all annual military spending in my country in six more years and my country is responsible for almost forty percent of the entire world's military expenditures according to the SIPRI (see List of countries by military expenditures - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ).
Between one and two decades from now, lawless riots and government authoritarian responses are going to become the norm in these godless densely populated zones all over the country as the government literally runs out of the ability to continue borrowing money to hand out in welfare, social services, ethnic programs, public education programs and grants, jail/prison rehabilitation programs, etc... that presently stabilize densely populated godless urban zones.
You haven't seen anything yet. Wait for it...
But for some reason, you seem to think that because I dismiss the very ideology you espouse which is primarily responsible for creating the present rapidly deteriorating culture and rapidly deteriorating socio-economic environment (though the neo-cons must take their fair share of the latter) that I don't care as much as you do about people. You couldn't be more wrong.
I simply find arguing with you about each single event that occurs between some hood rat with a bad attitude that wouldn't stop walking in the street and get back onto the sidewalk when an officer told him to do so (roadways are made for automobiles and bicycles not pedestrian traffic) which may have led to a serious over reaction (or not) are just drops in a rapidly growing ocean David.
Understand my POV is watching you always focus on a tree while ignoring the very forests of trees that people who think like you have grown over the past fifty years.
Review that video David and ask yourself what is the solution for a society that has lost its soul, its intelligence, its character, etc... and now cares more about looting and rioting than living moral lives and raising their children to be functioning moral members of a civilized society who wouldn't walk down the middle of the street to begin with because they know it's the wrong thing to do much less mouth off to the first police officer that told them to get back on the sidewalk?
You hate the trend in law enforcement toward authoritarianism and SWAT/Gestapo/KGB tactics but what do you expect is going to happen when large densely populated areas become filled with humans that run amuck like feral animals bringing destruction, violence, immorality, and addiction everywhere they go?

Listen, there is evidence that the local cops were being racist. The FBI has already found that in their investigation, however, that in no way proves that this was a bad shoot.
For the evidence, look at the amount of car stops of blacks vs. whites in the city, plus the amount of paraphenalia and crimes reported due to those stops. It is way out of proportion. FoxNews showed that the amount of stops that led to either tickets/arrests/seizure of paraphenalia was 15% of stops in which the person stopped was black. However, it was 88% of the people stopped were black. Now, could there be an explanation sure, but when the two stats are put side by side they seem to be evidence of racial profiling. There are also many complaints by rookie officers against veterans for racially motivated situations.
Now, is it possible that the cop in this situation is racist? Yes. Does that mean his fatal shooting of the kid was illegal or wrong? No. Just because the police officer is racist (hypothetically) does not prove that he did not have reason to shoot. I can dream up multiple reasonable scenarios where that is possible. However, until the investigation is done, all of them, local, state, and federal investigations, we cannot say that the cop executed the kid, nor can we say that the kid was innocent.

The real culprit is liberalism. No segment of society votes for democrats more than blacks do...see what it has done to them?

Forget liberalism and conservative for a moment here. This is going to be one heck of a case either way you cut it, that is clear all ready. It has international media attention so that is unavoidable.
What needs to happen now is the protestors have to stop the looting/rioting and the police also have to stop their military style crackdowns on the peaceful protestors and journalists who are passive.
President Obama officially weighed in today and the Missouri Governor Jay Nixon agreed to de-escalate the police response. As well as introduce federal and state law enforcement to replace the local authorities who are obviously not trusted by the protestors. This is a good step forward by the government. Now the onus is on the protestors to stay peaceful and stop looting and rioting. What will really happen though? We shall watch therefore and see.

This would probably be a good time to introduce the fact that Michael Brown allegedly committed a violent robbery minutes before being shot.

It takes some hood rat balls to commit a strong arm robbery and then walk down the middle of the street and tell the police officer who pulls up next to you and instructs you to get out of the middle of the street and onto the sidewalk that you're not going to do so.

This case is a wonderful example as to why it's important to be patient and wait for the full story before picking sides.
Micheal's friend gave his testimony shortly after Micheal was shot. Far too many people believed his story without even questioning it. And with or without the witness account, there was absolutely zero evidence that the shooting was racially motivated. But, since it was a white man shooting a black teen, that's the conclusion everyone immediately jumped to. That's not to say police are never racist, but we need to look into individual accounts before making such a claim.
For nearly a week, the police didn't release evidence that Micheal was guilty of robbing the store. That's because they wanted to look into what actually happened and make sure they had enough evidence before falsely convicting anyone.
What bothers me is the fact that many people who protested in person and online will not admit they're wrong. They'll likely continue to search for ways to blame the cop. One example I've already seen is the idea that the police officer shouldn't have shot an unarmed teen no matter what. But, if the teenager punched him in the face and tried to steal the officer's gun, the officer was clearly in danger of losing his life. And honestly, when someone tries to steal your gun, you know they're not going to let you pat them down for weapons to make sure they aren't armed.
It's okay to speculate, but don't make any firm decisions until you're certain you've seen enough evidence to base those decisions on.

Will the USA Ever Get Over Racism?
IMHO:
The ideal of integration lasted about 1 year as an established philosophy in the USA, perhaps from 1968-69. With multiculturalism & diversity it was back to a new segregation again. It became advantageous to claim to be some minority and to claim special privileges based on minority status.
What is tragic is to see how a large group of persons evaluate a conflict between 2 men, one being light-pigmented & the other dark-pigmented. When a group of persons sides with one of the men in the conflict based upon the congruence of pigment or "race," that is racism. If blacks hear of a conflict between a white man and a black, and then without waiting for investigation at once rise up in favor of the black man, that is just racism. The same is true if it happens that white persons side with the white man.
If it did not come natural to be sinful, men would wait to form an opinion as to who is at fault after all the evidence came in, instead of jumping to conclusions, ranting & raving, and rioting in the streets. And it might occur to men that they are all part of the one human race, aside from being Christians and brought into a new race, the Church, where questions of pigment or ethnicity were irrelevant.

I am beginning to see some borderline 'racism' on this thread and I pray that they look into the mirror at themselves and ask Jesus for forgiveness. Blacks, Whites, Latinos, Asians, Arabs, native Americans, males & females are all sinners, far from God's model of perfection. Let's just pray that all will come to accept Jesus and His gift of salvation.

It looks like the one that gave the anti-police eyewitness testimony (e.g. Dorian Johnson) may be the same one in the robbery video Michael Brown is passing stuff too. Take a look at this picture of Dorian and then rewatch the robbery video I posted. What do you think? Same person? It looks like it to me.
