Blue_Ladybug, WHAT TYPE OF PERSON ARE YOU TO CHANGE THE HEADING TO - NO TRUTH FROM FRANK?? QUITE SICK I THINK. BUT THAT IS HOW SATAN WORKS.
Well, you do speak a lot of untruth, so no, it's quite appropriate. Yes, that's how Satan works.

as far as the trinity ...... the "trinity" has been a way the church has described the infinite god for a very long time. is it theologically correct and capable of proof by internet bible scholars? ask me in ten years after i have had time it discuss it over a few beers with calvin and aquinas. for now i'll accept it but won't worry much about it. i have more pressing things to do in the hurting world around me.

Troublesome analogies used to try to explain the Trinity lead to false teachings, but the Trinity itself is a biblically true understanding concerning the Godhead.
Troublesome analogies used to try to explain the Trinity lead to false teachings so why do you teach falsely? There is God the Father and Son All through and even before the written OT. All sin will be forgiven you as believing in the Spirit of God which is Holy as a separate person LOL is not blasphemy lucky for you and the rest of the unlearned. But you will learn as the Word will not return unto Him empty.

He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. It is quite obvious that people who interpret scripture reference to a trinity have no clue what the above passage states. But they will learn.

Thus…you will be saved if you believe in The Triune God, as revealed in scripture.

Simple, Biblical truth.
I checked those verses and I did not see a trinity in them anywhere

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth [the Lord Jesus], and shalt believe in thine heart that [God] hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

20Who[Jesus] verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21[Who] by him do believe in [God], that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

20Now the [God] of peace, that brought again from the dead our [Lord Jesus], that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21Make you perfect in every good work to do [his] will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through [Jesus Christ]; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

14And [God] hath both raised up [the Lord], and will also raise up us by [his own power].

11In [whom] also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands,
in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of [Christ]:
12Buried with [him] in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith
of the operation of [God], who hath raised him from the dead.

23[Him], being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of [God],
ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24Whom [God] hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death:
because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

32This [Jesus] hath [God] raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

14But ye denied [the Holy One] and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15And killed [the Prince of life], whom [God] hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

30But [God] raised [him] from the dead:
31And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem,
who are his witnesses unto the people.

32And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
33God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that [he] hath raised up [Jesus again];
as it is also written in the second psalm, [Thou art my Son], this day have [I begotten thee].

34And as concerning that [he] raised [him] up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption,
he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
35Wherefore [he] saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine [Holy One] to see corruption.
36For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep,
and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
37But [he], whom [God] raised again, saw no corruption.

What you see is GOD raising Jesus from the dead in these passages.

This is The Triune God.

Contrast these verses to the others provided - which show that The Father raised Jesus from the dead....The Son raised Himself from the dead...The Spirit raised Jesus from the Dead.

Each Person of The Trinity is credited with the singular raising of Jesus from the dead.

Thus, when it states only God, then we can be confident that it is referring to The Trinity.

Simple Biblical Truth...

Aren't we made it the likeness of God?
If God is a triune being, then we have to be as well.

I don't see how it could.
It means we are made as He is, it doesn't mean we are as big and have the same capabilities as He does. We are not God but sons of God, as in little gods.
Even as the offspring is like the parents, like the law of Genesis, so are we like God.

and that is why you deny the Lord is that Spirit.....so you deny scripture just to prove your doctrine.....
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Can you explain who is the Lord spoken of here ? because you said elsewhere there is no mention of Jesus in the passage ...The scripture says there is one Lord...and the Lord is that Spirit....that is why there is no mention of the Spirit in that scripture where all is discussed

1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Why do you continue to use Trinitarian English renderings when you disagree with them in the first place?

Further, your 2 Cor 3 example references MOSES from Exodus 34!

Now....drum roll....tell us about the encounter taking place in Exodus 34.

This should put an end to your pitiful, pitiful argument...

1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life eternal. (1 John 5.20)

is a Man a triune being Why or Why not ?
I have shown you God made the first Adam a living soul, and the second Adam a quickening spirit...I cannot give you information of any triune being since I have not come across that in scripture...men imply things but God never said that we are triune in scripture

Man is a triune being because he is created in the image of God. “God said, Let us make man in Our image” (Genesis 1:26)

man is a triune being composed of spirit, soul, and body: Representing the Father Son and Holy Spirit

I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow (body), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart Heb 4:12

Re: You dont know scripture...

So you conclude us means three..

man is a triune being composed of spirit, soul, and body: Representing the Father Son and Holy Spirit
Genesis 2:7
And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
1 Corinthians 15:45
So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
If that verse proves man has three parts then those below prove he has more parts

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow (body), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart Heb 4:12
this verse includes the mind (thoughts and intents of the heart) making four parts
Nowhere does the scripture say God is triune nowhere does the scripture say man is triune... we can find a few verses to support any doctrine....I will stick with what the word says and stay clear from the imagination of man.... The first Adam a living soul...the second Adam a life-giving spirit.
But if a man love traditions of men more than God himself then he will preserve those traditions rather than seek truth...The word says you will be hated of men for his name sake...

The Trinity has the same one NAME according to scripture!

You keep owning yourself with every post....
