What kind of a reply is this?

You asked me what I meant by Christ's faith and I gave you what I meant. So, why would you ask me what sort of a reply was that? I apologize to you if I did not reply with the words you were desiring to hear.

Do you know the intent of my heart?

If this is normal conversation for you, please do not bother with replying..... Thank you and may you have a nice day....

The Holy Bible defines 'faith' as...'acting upon established truth'...and the examples provided for 'faith' show Jesus as the originator.

The intent of scripture is what I am looking for....not what your heart feels it should be....thanks...

Re: study up...

David was Trinitarian before, during, and after his extra marital affair and subsequent murdering of Bathsheba's former husband.

Deal with it...
Lol. He just forgot to mention it I guess.

Then, how can you say with certainty that I conveniently forgot the previous verse?

The question was, 'Do you know the intent of my heart', in that you are sure I purposely left out the previous verse?

Christ's Faith

buddha's faith

allah's faith

A religious system based upon the doctrine taught by its leader. Those from baddha's and allah's and the sort do not act upon established truth. Therefore, faith cannot be defined as such.

So, if Jesus is the Originator of the faith He brought in, then it is His faith, Jesus' Faith, Christ's faith, because He is the Originator. In the end, there is not difference in me having said 'Christ's faith' and you having said 'Jesus as the originator', seeing that we both understand that Jesus and Christ is the same person.

Why even waste bandwidth on something this minute?

You had two separate opportunities with which to posit the previous verse, of which, would have nullified you even positing it in the first place.

Be honest with yourself...

The Koran is merely paraphrased Biblical material...so 'faith' in the Arabic should carry the same intent as its source, the Holy Bible.

As far as Jesus' faith, He defines 'faith'....a better response would have been faith in Jesus.

If we are saved by grace, why are we judged by our deeds?
By the grace of God we were given Jesus so that we might be saved, if Jesus is in your heart you will do good things, if you dont do good things most likely Jesus( the Word) is not in your heart.

Jesus has faith in God and that is not the faith which is his gift to us, God is Faithful to His plans for us and for all men, that is not our faith. I had faith in God before I was saved, but the faith that saves me is the gift of God to my heart. because my faith in Jesus is real, I will live it out in good works. By my holy life, I know, my faith is real, a living faith works. A dead faith has no works. All the teachings of the Bible is our Faith, given to us by God in the Bible doctrines. God limits and guides His work with us by His revealed doctrines of the Bible. To have a creed, that defines God is good, and does not put God "in a box", God puts Himself in the box, by His revelation to us. But we know God is not confined by His revelation to us, but is infinitely above the box, yet, close to us, so we can feel and know Him. Praise our truine God.Love Hoffco

Please say what you are really implying or care to know. I already gave my response to the question I asked.
Sorry, I forgot your response. would you please post it again? And, please state if you believe in the trinity. If a person doesn't believe in the GOD of the Bible, (Trinity) it messes up every thing he/she says. I had one friend who was "oneness" and he was such a loud mouth, so angry, it was a pain to talk to him. He had a baptism experience, which he trusted in as his salvation experience. He came out of the icy water, and a bright light shone upon him, and all the snow melted around him. Do all "oneness" people believe in baptismal regeneration? Do all "oneness" people hate "election"? I wish we all had to state our theological positions under our chat name. I am a Biblicist: very Reformed, very Covenant, and some what Dispensational. So, some friends think I am messed up in my thinking, and/or mentally off. And I have no "friends" who will agree 100% with me. And only, this yr., I found a Church, on line, who gave me ordination. LOL, So, I control totally the church I operate. I am totally, 99.9% paying my way. I just fired a man who would not preach repentance. So the " Sheep" are worry, concerned over my judgment call. But they are coming back, and the fellowship is good. The sheep are "eatting up" the word, and are friendly. I also, had to send away three family members who were getting violiant with me, almost to blows, fits. God bless, Hoffco
