Where in the world did I ever propose that we do nothing to save a child in danger? You are putting words in my mouth if you believe that. I never once ever said to not do anything to save a child from someone who might harm them. As I said before, I will TAKE ACTION physically (But in a non violent way) to stop an attacker who is going to hurt a child. This could involve:

#1. Wrestling with the attacker so as to restrain them (Until help can arrive).

#2. Praying for God to help. If you don't believe God can help, then I have to question the power of the type of God you worship.

#3. Rebuking them in the name of Jesus Christ to stop! If you don't believe there is power in the name of Jesus, then what is the purpose of asking things within His name?

#4. Telling them about Jesus Christ and His love. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolisnness. Do you believe you can perish foolishness with the preaching of the cross? Do you really believe that, my friend?

#5. Calling God's ministers of justice (i.e. the police) to help bring order to a situation where the above is not applicable. For example: Your neighbor might come to your house and say their daughter is captured by a mad killer. It is not wrong for a Christian to call the police in this instance.
More fluff and filler....go try that on the street...especially rebuking them in the name of Jesus.....WOW!

What if you went back in time and you seen Hitler was the child who was about to be killed by an attacker?

Would you let the child die?
lol what if I went back in time? HAHAHAHAHHA!!! well sir, I can't time travel so I have no way of knowing what child will become the next Hitler, however it's not my job to judge. If the situation is a guy trying to kill a child, that's pretty cut and dried it's not out of hatred I'd use physical force, it'd be out of love.. Love for the victim.

C'mon Jason... Really?
Answer the questions. As for the attacker turning out to be your wife: Stranger things happen in this life. Just read up about strange but true stories.

As for the time travel example: My point is that not every child who grows up will be innocent and in service to God. Yes, we are to do everything within our power to stop a child or a person from being harmed by an attacker; But violence or lethal force is not the answer. You are putting your faith in a gun and or your fists and not in God. God could have given the attacker a heart attack.

I do not tempt the Lord my God. I am not out to put myself in a situation that will put God's power to the test. God will bring me the challenges that I am to face in His time and choosing. God will lead me where to go to preach and to minister and to help and to even suffer for His Kingdom for His glory.

God's people were commanded to kill children. Obviously God had a good reason why He would give such a command. Does that mean God or God's people were unloving? No. Not at all.

Yes he did, and you stop right there before you compare God's commands to some sick murdering child rapist..

But it's not always hypothetical, though. These things happen EVERY DAY, and people bypass them because they don't wanna get involved. People like Jason would rather stand there and pray while it happens, instead of stepping in, and not realizing that maybe God is using HIM as an answer to that prayer as a means of stopping the crime-in-progress!! My prayer would be "God help me save this person," NOT "God send somebody ELSE to save this person so I don't have to"!!

You don't have to kill the other person to stop them, but if force is necessary, then that's what you gotta do. By force, I mean you grab a stick, or a bat or SOMETHING!! Throw your cellphone at their head!! ANYTHING to distract them away from hurting the other person.

Making excuses for not doing anything is just cowardly and wrong, IMO. Just sayin..
Matthew 11:12
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

Sick murdering rapists can be forgiven by the power of Jesus Christ:

Here is his testimony that talks about that.

Nothing in here about using your fists of fury to punch thru people's chests or to shoot them in the head or to build a mote around your house so that you can have sharks with laser beams attached to their foreheads so as to keep away potential bad people.

That is a play on words. You are judge, jury, and executioner if you shoot somebody.

Jason, you sicken me.
How is loving people and not desiring to kill people and trusting in God sickening? Do you believe God is powerless? I don't. Do you believe God can save? I can. Do you believe you need a gun or your fists? I don't because God is so much more powerful than these things and He doesn't need me to be his police force. God has armies of angels to protect and to serve for Him.

How do I set him on ignore? anybody know? I've never been this disgusted.

A judge condemns an act you've completed and an executioner exacts the judgement. We are talking about stopping someone from completing the act before it can be accomplished. Huge difference but I am about to throw up on my computer from talking to you. Jason, do you know how I can set you to ignore?

What if the person you didn't stop the police have been looking for for 3 months and you let him go?

You have to realize that I do not intend anyone harm in any way shape or form. If I believed that violence was what God wanted me to use to help protect people, then I would have no problem with it. But God has commanded me otherwise. So I trust in God and seek to love others and to follow His plan. For nobody has shown any Scripture of Jesus and the apostles fighting back in the New Testament. Nor had they laid down any doctrine on the proper Christian ethic on the art of war, either.

Anyways, I do love you, my friend; And I understand your frustration. It is not towards me but it is actually towards Jesus Christ and His Word. But if you want to put me on ignore, I understand. Just go to "settings" at top and then click on "Edit Ignore List" that is listed on the left hand side column.

In any event, may God bless you.
And please be well.
And I am wishing you nothing but good things to you in Jesus Christ.
