I think part of it is because it was the woman that was first deceived, man was deceived by the woman. Also man was made in the image of God, woman was made from the rib of man.
Good strategy, to take down the weakest one first. Or is it? It did not take much to convince Adam anyway. Apparently, a woman could do it.
The woman was deceived but the man willingly and knowingly partook (sinned/disobeyed).

Hey God uses who He uses, remember Deborah? Need I say more? If a man won't step up then God will use a woman. I've persona gon to Bible studies and have had no problem with it at all. Now Paul of coarse is Jewish an in the Jewish system of things a Rabbi woul never want a man to look bad in fron of his wife. That's just the way it was, and still is. Especially in regards to the law or Word of God because no matter how you slice it the man is the responsible party regarding his family. This is something I will have to answer for regarding my own family. So ladies don't tak offense this may be a responsibility you may want to leave to you husbands. If he's not willing do you thing.

What is written in the established New Covenant is fixed, in order and to teach and test faithfulness in submission and obedience to all of them, for born again believers. Apart from these are 'lawlessness' practice and lawlessness is 'sin'. GOD sticks to HIS Covenant made with HIS redeemed people. When the Israelite violate them, HE punished them, when they do not acknowledge, seek help and repent/stop doing, during a given grace time, that is after the warning of HIS true prophets, whom they despised for bringing GOD;s correction.
So for born again Christian under the New Covenant, have also their duration time to 'abide' and 'repent' and practice and excel in all of them that are written words of Eternal Life. The LORD in the beginning of the Gospel, has already highlighted rejecting the Christian workers of 'lawlessness'. They were able to say to the LORD that they have preached, they have performed miracles and did mighty works, in HIS name, but surprisingly and sadly HE rejects them because they have violated the GOD made with them, upon redemption Covenant to 'abide/keep/obey/continue/etc., doing their given ministry using the distributed gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT in 'lawlessness' behavior.
Everyone who are gifted runners, who wants to run a race, must also study the contract that consist of 'terms and conditions', 'rules and regulations' to in practiced in the race, even though challenges are taught to be expected ahead and in agreement, because violating the contract, can disqualify even a winner at the end, decided by event witnesses and the judge. And so that person's hard training and efforts and run, turned out to be done in vain.
Now the New Covenant (Spiritual contract) writes in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 that women are allowed to 'pray' and 'prophesy', but with a 'covering'. A woman is not allowed to shorn/shear her hair, for it is her covering and her glory and honor her head over her, father, husband or CHRIST. Women are allowed to shear/shorn, if they have to or necessary, but still they ought to have a covering on their shear/shorn head, because of angels who are witnesses to this.
Apart from this, if she continue to pray and prophesy without a covering on her head, dishonors her head and is to her 'lawlessness'.
Women are not allowed to lead the church as a overseer because the instructions Apostle Paul gave to Timothy in order to select Overseers, is only given to men. Women are allowed to Deacon stewardship with men.
No point in arguing against the written and established Covenant of the Living GOD and find your way women and men through or pass the Covenant, even by the Help of ignorant men. JESUS already judge such as 'robbers and thieves' get by by the help of 'crooked managers'.
No point in continuing in this tread, for the LORD JESUS CHRIST of the FATHER's Covenant have spoken. Men please do your own work well and honor women. And women do your own work well too, for things are written about you to 'abide' under men. That is your honorable duty for CHRIST, in submissive and obedience to GOD's every Word. The LORD is the only judge over men and women and not any of us. For the words of spirit and life have spoken to judge, for now as only a reminder and a stir up of memory to repent and not continue in ignorant and be counted on that day as 'lawlessness' and rejected.
Men and women, we cannot ignore nor escape from what we have agreed with GOD and HIS Covenant, build with HIS SON and we are called to taught and witness and honor HIS SON, upon our permitted and received salvation, by redeeming us from slavery to sin and death.
Please acknowledge and speak with the LORD JESUS CHRIST now and discover many more ignorance through to word(JESUS) and 'then boldly come to the throne of grace and find help in all your weakness', while being gloomy and sad, not able to do what GOD call us to do, before the LORD returns or before we are buried six feet under.
Please this is not a stand up comedy for us to laugh and enjoy, in GOD's Grace permitted life extension to truly repent.
