Rock on! Play your best and remember where the power chords are. ^.^ And if you need a Les Paul or humbucker and don't have one, I can tell you how to get the same effect (for free) with your guitar and a computer. :D

Haha I know my power chords! I've been playing power chords and bar chords since I was 11. :D And the only reason I was able to do that at 11, is because I practiced to do it non-stop. I was bound and determined to be famous by 16 years old. I was a Hannah Montana wanna-be. LOL I've learned a lot since then. But my desire is to travel and play music all over the world someday. It's either that or stay at home and run some kind of small farm with a nice vegetable garden and a few fruit trees, a cow or two, some chickens, and a plenty of space for dogs. :D Or maybe I can have both, I just have a husband to run all of it while I'm gone. :p

Well, this is sort of exciting. :) My friend's band is well known locally, had an article done in the local paper. They're going to record in Tennessee. Their electric guitarist left, and so today, I got a phone call from my friend, asking if I wanted to play electric guitar for them at an event. I definitely said yes. I'll start practicing with them on Tuesday. Hopefully this doesn't just stop at this event. I truly hope this is a door that's going to open for me.
Rock on, Evie! That's brilliant. I pray it all works out for you. Go get 'em!

Wow I wish I could sleep...
Too bad I live in a home where if I posted here what was really going on I'd probably get really weird looks.

I wish to one day create a thread on here that is new- that has not been posted on here before....I shall call it... 'And now for something completely different'

It will be great.
Too many reposts of threads.
Too many same arguments.

I would but, why? What would it contain?
I was just thinking of using the title
Oh, it just came to mind when you mentioned the reference. The title works well. It doesn't need to be about Monty Python.

I got a good night's sleep, it's a new day, I'm ready to go... and I have nothing at all to do today. The yard doesn't need mowing, I'm not scheduled to go to work, the soundtrack I was making is done, I have plenty of bread in the freezer from the last time I made it. Looks like a good day to be totally useless and do nothing at all of any importance.

Yay! I love those days! :D :D :D

My exposure to US politics revolves around what is written in Canadian international news, and the Daily Show. That's about it.
The Daily Show is great if you want to be 'exposed to US politics,'
if you like the liberal agenda that is.

Well, liberals hate the "conservative agenda" too. =^.^=

Oooooh I'm so mad right now. My sister's fiance threw away a receipt I needed to take something back to Walmart. I need that money back in my bank account, not on a Walmart gift card. SO. MAD.

I looked everywhere before I came to this conclusion. EVERYWHERE.

Use the gift card to buy something you were gonna have to buy anyway. Like dog food or cat food. Or peanut butter or shampoo.

I don't buy a whole lot from Walmart anymore, to be honest...but I could. But I'm too stubborn. I'm gonna see if I can find my way around this.
