so you conclude to baptise to be immersed into anything else except water....
No, but you sure seem to think it only applies to water. You forget I am a strong advocate that the most appropriate place to start our walk of obedience, is Christian Water Baptism by immersion. The only reason I did not, is at the time I was saved and for about six years afterwards, I was still going to the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) and they assured me that my infant baptism was sufficient. I grew to understand that it was not, as I studied for myself, and fed on good sound Bible Teachings such as the:

"Grace to You" Radio Program by Dr. John MacArthur
"Sound Words" by Dr. Gil Rugh
"Insight for Living" by Chuck Swindoll
"Winning Walk" by Dr. Ed Young, Sr.
"In Touch Ministries" by Dr. Charles Stanley
"Love Worth Finding" by Dr. Adrian Rodgers
"There's Hope!" by Dr. Richard Lee
"Changed Lives" by Dr. Ben Haden
"Zola Levitt Ministries" by Dr. Zola Levitt

About 1984, when we were hungry for more good sound Bible Teaching, we decided we needed to leave the Lutheran Church, and find a Bible Teaching Church. What I mean by that, is a Church that spends a great deal more time actually Teaching the Word of GOD than the 15 minutes sermons at the Lutheran Church. We started going to an Evangelical Free Church, and were there for a couple years. The sermons there were nearly an hour every Sunday. Then for the last couple years before we left Nebraska, we were going to Indian Hills Community Church, where Dr. Gil Rugh was Senior Pastor.

I am extremely grateful to GOD for the good sound Bible Teachers that He brought into my path, during the years that I was building a firm foundation, getting GROUNDED in His WORD.

Acts 10:47-48
[SUP]47 [/SUP]Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
[SUP]48 [/SUP]And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

OH, a very good verse to PROVE that they RECEIVED the HOLY SPIRIT before they got wet in the Waters of Baptism!

Thank you, for posting that one!

Malachi 3:6 (NKJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] "For I am the LORD, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

The theif on the cross was not baptized and you will not find biblical support that any of the disciples were baptized. Not even James, John or Peter. You will find that they were baptized in the Holy Ghost which most reject.
The Thief on the Cross was to Baptized, it says so right here:

1 Corinthians 12:13 (ASV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body,
whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free;
and were all made to drink of one Spirit.

is Corinthians addressing the whole world?

Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes,
To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Corinthians 1:1-3)

no, Corinthians is addressing "
those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ" -- not 'the whole world.'
you see, the people to whom the letter is written, all who call upon the name of the Lord, are the ones baptized by one Spirit into one body.
it is written
to all that are sanctified in Christ - not all who are dipped in H[SUB]2[/SUB]O - and how are we sanctified in Christ? by being baptized by His Spirit into one body!! :)

AND what you do not know, "There is a way that YOU CAN KNOW, what is Spiritually Correct."

COME! Repent and Surrender to GOD the Son, as your LORD and MASTER. Become Born Again!

1 Corinthians 2:12-13 (HCSB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who ⌊comes⌋ from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

What about sprinkled believers, NewB? Were they baptized?

Where does water occur in 1 Cor 12:13? Since water baptism is clearly distinguished in scripture from Spirit baptism, you have no grounds to put water into 1 Cor 12:13 (that attempt is all wet).
You were responding to:

The problem in the above is the "MASTER" claim.
Salvation is by grace, not for promising to obey the master.
This is a common error for persons who don't realize that Rom 10:13 calls Christ LORD, not Lord; that is YHWH, as it is a quote from the OT. To be saved one must approach Christ as YHWH, not as a mere good teacher.
Of course if He is YHWH that includes all the definition of YHWH, including master by way of definition.

Water dunking doesn't put anyone in the Church. It is the power of the Holy Spirit.

But why argue about it if you know nothing about it for the reason that you have downgraded the Savior to mere chance-giver & made water your idol? Water is not the savior. The Lord Jesus is the only & sufficient Savior.

I showed Kerry where in John the scriptures say that the disciples/apostles of Jesus went to John and was baptized.
It should be observed that we are not properly referring to baptizo on this site. "Baptize" is a transliteration rather than a translation. Why don't we translate and call it dipping? Be dipped, be immersed. Then we won't be pretending agreement where there is none.

So what is it Ken? What happens to persons who trust the Lord Jesus as Savior (i.e., believe in the Son of God) but were never dipped, only sprinkled as babies? Do they go to the Lake of Fire?

men who twist the word and form their own doctrine...turning from the word...when the commentry becomes more important than the word...if you can't see the truth by the power of the HS...how can a man make you see it...what you will see is the man's version....imagine using a man's comments to justify God's word...why not use God's word to justify the man's comment???

So NewB, what is the true doctrine on the non-immersed?

What happens to all the Presbyterians, Lutherans, Methodists, and Episcopalians [& other denominationals] who happen to trust Christ as Savior, but were sprinkled as babies and die without being actually being water-baptized (as defined by dipping, dunking, immersing)?

Are they roasted in the Lake of Fire with weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth?

post 423 VCO implies it is the whole world......and your quote does not exist in the scripture...baptized by His Spirit into one body
1 Corinthians 12:13 (GW)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] By one Spirit we {born again Christians} were all baptized into one body. Whether we are Jewish or Greek, slave or free, God gave all of us one Spirit to drink.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (ISV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For by one Spirit all of us{born again Christians} —Jews and Greeks, slaves and free—were baptized into one body and were all privileged to drink from one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (NIV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For we were all {born again Christians} baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For by one Spirit we were all{born again Christians}baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For by one Spirit we were all {born again Christians} baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For by one Spirit are we all {born again Christians} baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

The Thief on the Cross was to Baptized, it says so right here:

1 Corinthians 12:13 (ASV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]For in one Spirit were we all
{born again Christians} baptized into one body,
whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free;
and were all made to drink of one Spirit.

I did not know that I had to also explain to you that the WE ALL was a reference to ALL
born again Christians. Yet another example of you not understanding Spiritual Truths.

And here is the PROOF that the Thief on the Cross became a born again Christian, on the Cross:

Luke 23:40-43 (NKJV)
[SUP]40 [/SUP] But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
[SUP]41 [/SUP] And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds{CONFESSION}; but this Man has done nothing wrong."
[SUP]42 [/SUP] Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."
{REPENTENCE and RECEIVING JESUS AS LORD};
[SUP]43 [/SUP] And Jesus said to him,"Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
{ASSURANCE HE WAS FORGIVEN AND WAS SAVED, and would be going to HEAVEN with Jesus that very DAY.};

John 1:12-13 (NKJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
[SUP]13 [/SUP] who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. {born again Christians}

Colossians 2:6 (NIV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, {born again Christians}

Remember I tried to explain that all to you before, including proving that Paradise was the THRONE ROOM of Heaven where GOD dwells; and all you did was accuse me of jumping all around the Scriptures with no purpose.

Do you know what baptizo means? How will you obey it if you don't know what it means?

And how can you say that someone has to be baptized to be saved if you don't even know what the word means?

New, you are WRONG, and I worry about you spiritual well-being because of it.

The spiritual immersion into the Spiritual Body of Christ, is a very real thing. I am in HIM, and HE is in me, because of it.

This is the REAL Lord's Prayer, please read through it slowly and try to understand the many spiritual Truths contained in this PRAYER:

John 17:9-26 (HCSB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] I pray for them. I am not praying for the world but for those You have given Me, because they are Yours.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Everything I have is Yours, and everything You have is Mine, and I have been glorified in them.

[SUP]11 [/SUP] I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by Your name that You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are one.

[SUP]12 [/SUP] While I was with them, I was protecting them by Your name that You have given Me. I guarded them and not one of them is lost, except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture may be fulfilled.

[SUP]13 [/SUP] Now I am coming to You, and I speak these things in the world so that they may have My joy completed in them.

[SUP]14 [/SUP] I have given them Your word. The world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

[SUP]15 [/SUP] I am not praying that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one.

[SUP]16 [/SUP] They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

[SUP]17 [/SUP] Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.

[SUP]18 [/SUP] As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

[SUP]19 [/SUP] I sanctify Myself for them, so they also may be sanctified by the truth.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in Me through their message.

[SUP]21 [/SUP] May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You. May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me.

[SUP]22 [/SUP] I have given them the glory You have given Me. May they be one as We are one.

[SUP]23 [/SUP] I am in them and You are in Me. May they be made completely one, so the world may know You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me.

[SUP]24 [/SUP] Father, I desire those You have given Me to be with Me where I am. Then they will see My glory, which You have given Me because You loved Me before the world’s foundation.

[SUP]25 [/SUP] Righteous Father! The world has not known You. However, I have known You, and these have known that You sent Me.

[SUP]26 [/SUP] I made Your name known to them and will make it known, so the love You have loved Me with may be in them and I may be in them.
