It's a habit for a lot of people to make the A-OK symbol with their hands. You see it in on television a lot if you're closely observing. I've seen and heard some actors make a deliberate A-OK symbol while they express a one word line. On Two and a Half Men I saw the character Alan Harper stand up and make the symbol at the center of his body and he said the word "Face". The A-OK symbol is also a signification for 666. The cricle of the 6 is made by the thumb and forefinger touching points. The the other three fingers are fanned out to create three sixes. Whether the actor on the TV was deliberately doing it or not, the coincidence is very convincing. Another TV show called How I Met Your Mother aired an episode where the main character of the show used his right hand to make the symbol as he was saying "Ease of mind". Whether these actors are a part of a secret society in hollywood, it doesn't matter. The enemy can use anyone and if they are demonically influenced they can move their bodies and mouths in ways that reflect the mind of the underworld. What the A-OK hand sign can do is subconciouslly embed into the veiwers mind to accept it. We see this hand sign throughout all of the entertainment world, through popular religious icons and through politics. The mass deliberate display of this sign is mind boggling. People take photos of "important people" while they make the use of that sign in a very deliberate way. My whole point here is to abstain from making that sign, especially with your right hand as the beast of Revelation will cause all people to recieve a mark on their right hand. To make the symbol while saying "Face" is also weird because the beast of Revelation will also cause all people to receive a mark on their forehead (face).

I am comfortable in saying that I do not recall having ever been compelled to use this gesture. Not even in chats that have it as an available emoticon. Funny that it has always irritated me to even see it.

And the rock on hand symbol with the two horns with the fingers, that is a satanic hand sign.

Extending the thumb turns into sign language's shorthand for "I love you." This causes me to wonder if the thumb has a sort of powerful significance.

Alot of people confuse the ASL "I Love You" sign with the devil horns sign.. The devil horn sign is index and pinky fingers up, with the middle and ring fingers tucked into the hand with the thumb over them..

The ASL sign is the index and pinky fingers up, with the middle and ring fingers down and thumb extending outward. Very similar when compared, but completely different in meaning. :)

I can see that you tend to look more at the goodness and positivity in things all around you more than you like to observe the evil around you. Not necessarily a bad thing but i think it is wise to be aware. in a rock concert, especially in the genre of a death metal rock band playing demonically inspired lyrics where everyone throws up that sign, i do not think that people are confusing the ASL sign. but if a parent and a child has designated to use that sign as i love you then for them it is i love you. in a biblical perspective, if we do something that would make another stumble, in being aware of what they thing might mean to them, its best not to do it at all. a death metal rocker could be walking by and it could remind him of his love for everything his death metal bands sign about. there are literal death metal bands that deliberatley talk about the devil and they worship him. this person walking by could be influenced even by the little child saying "i love you" to his parent. so in confusing hand symbols or not, in awareness there is no confusion, clarity. just my opinion you don't have to believe me or listen to me, i'm just a kid

What you described with the index and pink fingers raised, the middle and index finger tucked in and the thumb over them is the "MOSH" sign. It means "Right On" and "Down with the Man". It was used by hippies and eventually by the hard rock and punk group. It is not a Satanic symbol.

The Satanic hand sign is similar though. Everything is the same as the "MOSH" sign, but with the difference of the thumb under the the middle finger protruding forward, making a bottom lip. It was invented by Dio, one of the so called "Gods of Heavy Metal." Many constantly noticed his different version of the MOSH sign, when asked, he called it the "Devil horns." Dio also did the MOSH sign, but always separate.

So, I guess, yes the thumb makes a difference.

What makes no difference is they all look the same. No one is critically observing where the thumb or whatever finger is. when you see the index and pinky sticking up and the middle and ring fingers bent. it all looks the same. i once had someone from hollywood (actress) make the horns with their fingers and there thumb wasn't as you described it , i happened to be intently looking because i'm naturally really observant than most people. she said SATAN with such a zest in her voice. People don't care where their thumb is, what matters is if they make the horns. My point here is that this sign can be an influence for Satantic. It could really affect someone and control their mind if imposed, lets say they struggled with a past where everyone at death metal concerts did that.
