I said that is what I am eating for breakfast. They ate sausage, cheese biscuits and gravy. The only reason I didn't eat the same thing they ate was they took forever and three years to get around to eating breakfast, so I made my own.

I would have had honey instead of molasses but we're out of honey.

And fyi, brown sugar is sugar and molasses. So... what was wrong with molasses again? :rolleyes:
 
My feet are numb and tingling. Spent the day walking around a museum and decided to walk 45 minutes home from work. Nice warm fall day out.
 
Hangin out with my dog listening to a podcast.
Thinking about getting baptized next month, I really need to get baptized and I hear that it is really important to a persons' salvation. John 3.

God keeps pressing it into my heart.

I need help in many areas these days . . but right now I'm having thoughts that are not helping my faith and I'm not sure why I keep having these fears . . can anyone help . . I really need answers because the verses that the holy spirit is giving me and the clues that are giving to me are not helping . . please. Please please can someone help quick. . thanks

We can try, but you are going to have to give more information than just I need help. Maybe start your own thread to talk about the stuff you are going through. Welcome to CC and the singles forum by the way.
 
Ok. . I made lots of bad choices in life . . but my choice in woman is the worst . . I'm depressed because I'm still not a father . . and can't meet any woman who wants kids and marriage and the promise I made to my father won't happen and that's and because I'm not getting any younger that is got me stressed . . I know god has a plan but I don't see it . . death took both of my parents my dad in 2012 mother 1997 and my only friend in 1997 . . . . i don't know if its fate

You would be better off, as stated before, starting your own thread. Usually it's better to start your own thread than take over an existing thread. Include your age as well, as that will have an effect on the type of responses you get.
 
Ok....I wasnt going to say this.....but I have to get it out........
Im getting ready to go to church......im praying I have the right words and
have the bravery to witness today.....as I have been asked to share my testimonies..
I am new to this church...only my second visit.....I must admit im frightened....
but im going do it afraid......and hope I can serve God well.....

Just woke from a 'nap' I began yesterday after my walk home. So.... I had a 16 hour sleep O_O
Also missed my night seizure med, so its got me all jittery and dizzy
 
Of all the places here, church is what makes me feel the loneliest, so I dread going every week. Today was especially bad and I left immediately after the service and cried on the way home.

Sat by myself and no one really talked to me. What if I wasn't a Christian? What would my impression of the church be? Sure I could be the one to initiate and talk to people but I'm shy and done with initiating and it felt like everyone was happy talking in their already established groups.

Very honest touching post Rachel. I'm sorry about your experiences. I can relate to a lot of what you are saying when I was trying to find a church. I don't have much advice, cus I was a hopper and I continued to hop until I found one. But I do understand the feeling.

Or when you finally find a good church and someone in your small group decides they don't like you.

It can get awkward fast.


Good churches still exist, they're just hard to find sometimes. I have no idea why people would willingly ignore you though, that's pretty cold. Maybe you were sending the message that you wanted to be alone subconsciously? I'm just thinking out loud here.
 
What about when someone from your church starts working at the same office as you and you realize that they are a crappy worker and have other personality things and you just can't stand this person?
