That is not evil. That is "I am at peace with the world and I think I'm about to take a nap."

When we work, we work. When a cat is going somewhere every step is silent and meticulously placed. It takes concentration to move that quietly and smoothly. That can take a bit of energy. We need our rest.

My sister made a fairly large sculpture of an animal a few years ago. It's displayed at the edge of the parking lot where I work. Recently two different people made interesting comments about it. The first was a professor who works at a nearby college teaching sculpture. Although he didn't directly say so, it was obvious from the words he was using (and the ones he was avoiding using) that he felt it lacked depth.

The second person who mentioned the sculpture was a lady who was quite elderly. She doesn't come here by herself; her daughter shops here and brings her mother along for the ride. I had never even noticed the older lady leaving the vehicle before. However, when they came a week ago, she told me "You know, every time I come here I get out for a minute to look closer at that sculpture! It just makes me feel so happy to see it and touch. She did such a great job making it, and it brings me so much joy!".

Today is school picture day. I tried and succeeded to brush my daughter's hair. My Husband isn't working today so he and I drove them to school. As we were pulling out my Husband said, wow, what a long line, everyone is running late today. I said, yes it's picture day, everyone had to chase their daughter's around the house and brush their hair.

Kitchen is almost reorganized. Still have some things to do in there. Who knew that some simple rearranging would make such a difference? Well, I guess it's not so simple. It's been taking me forever. But you know. It's all good.

Hey folks, I'm not dead! Though there are some that may wish I was. :D

There are a few things I'd like to say. First, jamming your pinky really hurts. Second, The Walking Dead starts in less than two weeks, and I'm uber excited. Third, I cut my hair. Fourth, ice water is the best thing ever.
