Only reason I ask this is because I'm re-reading the Bible and I'm at the very VERY beginning. It says that God made Adam first, then Eve from his rib. At least as far as I understand it. So, if Eve was made from the rib, wouldn't that mean that she had male parts, even if it's just a rib? Since Adam had sex with Eve to have Cain and Abel (at least I'm assuming they had sex. Were Cain and Abel also immaculate conception?) wouldn't that mean that Adam had sex with a person with male parts....well, part? I'm trying to put everything in the Bible into correct context and make sure I have no misunderstanding of it, but this part just struck me as odd.

So does that make you a male?

If Adam was gay God would have made Eve a man not a woman. This isn't Adam and Steve it's Adam and Eve.

Unfortunately, no, this isn't my girlfriend. I have yet to track down and marry my rapist as the Bible instructs me to. I was engaged for a while, but then the church told me if I truly married that man or had sex with him, I wouldn't be pure for him, and I would've broken the duty that I have to my should-be-husband somewhere out there. This is the perfect way to show the love of Christ. I guess you didn't know my brother is gay? I may not feel right about it but I sure wouldn't do this. And you talk all high and mighty about this being a sacrilegious topic. Yeah I said what I said about Adam and Steve and Adam and Eve but it was meant in a different way than I bet most took it. Kinda like a light hearted truth thing. But yeah go on judge...it's perfectly all right even though the Bible tells us not to huh?

To suggest that God, who hates homosexuality, who considers it an abomination of His design, would make someone queer is ludicrous and not worth any kind of serious reply.

God hates the sin not the sinner. Then if it didn't need any serious reply then why did you reply at all? Oh wait I guess your not a sinner.

This is a bible forum. The way I understand it works is you read the bible and discuss it. You should first read your bible. There wouldn't be as many questions of this nature if you did.
