I may or may not have just set fire to an invisible spider.

I'm not entirely certain right now if that means that I may not have set the fire, or if it means that there may not have been an invisible spider, or if it means that the spider may not have been invisible, or if it means that I should hush and go to sleep.

Probably that last thing, since it appears that my brain already went to sleep without letting me know.

I would like to say, I find it absolutely terrifying (and highly irresponsible!) that my brain may or may not have let me play with fire to defend myself from what may or may not have been a spider (which I may or may not ever know for sure as it may or may not have been invisible)...while it's sleeping.

Ohhh, I messed that sentence up. Ah, well...I knew, at some point, what I meant to say.

A totally amateur woman driver crashed into my car in the morning. Evidently she was poorly trained and worse, she thought that she was a good driver. She was switching lanes without looking at the right-side mirror (in India we drive on the left side of the road). I was following another car and she tried to sandwich her car in between. I kept honking and the "idiot" (I can't swear) didn't even bother to check. WHAM! And she kept driving! My front bumper had some bad scratches but thankfully there were no dents. If I have to get it repaired, this is going to cost me USD 1,000. Hopefully the car insurance will cover it but I don't have an FIR since it was a 'hit-and-run'.

SOME PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER DRIVE!!

:mad::mad:
Hmm...well....reckon you're mad right now, but why did you feel the urge of pointing out that the driver was a woman? Would you have said "A totally amateur male driver...?

That sucks but you're pretty lucky it wasn't worse. Maybe the scratches can be buffed out with wax.

No, I would have said "A totally amateur guy..." Does that answer your question?

Thanks for the idea. Didn't think of this. I'll do it. :)

Not really...the sentence "A totally amateur guy (driver)..." sounds (real) lame to me...I'm pretty sure you wouldnt say that...;)

Another rainy day here. I love rainy days, good for taking long naps. I believe I've mentioned that before. Alas, in about an hour I must haul myself off to w*rk (that W word is a four letter word y'know.)

...so then I woke up to a Facebook reminder that it's my dad's birthday. It's a bit unsettling to remember I have a dead man on my friends list, and also to remember that I could never remember his birthday. A bit much to handle before coffee.

I'm sorry you have to deal with that misscris, that must be a terrible and bizarre feeling. :(

I...am learning to cook.

I made flatbread the other night...with arugula hazelnut pesto (that I made!), sweet cherry pepper relish (that I made!), and goat cheese (that I did NOT make!).

It was pretty epic.
PICS! or it didn't happen... ;)

It seems to me that you've probably never been hit by someone in a car. The first thing that runs through one's mind is "that stupid guy/woman just hit me!" (unless you can't tell if its a guy or a woman). There's nothing sexist about mentioning that it was a woman. Sexist would be if they said something about women drivers in general, but he did not.

God wants me to get on a health kick again, so I am planning on throwing out a loaf of bread that I bought and am planning on switching to egg whites for the rest of the week.
I also bought organic kale and artichokes.

I am planning on cookng the artichoke with some tilapia today.

After doing some snooping around on my dad's facebook page and looking through his photos (lots of my grandpa, who died 3 years ago, lots of my dad from his younger days up to just last summer, lots of pictures of his artwork), I took him off my friends list. Which feels weird, because...it's like, all dramatic sounding..."I unfriended my dead father on facebook on his birthday!"

Yeah.

I dunno, I got tired of seeing all the birthday wishes and RIP's pop up in my newsfeed.

In other news...the sun is shining, the sky is clear, and there's a very slight breeze, making it the perfect weather for doing outdoorsy junk.

I think I'll have a nap.

zero, zero, zero... *sigh* You just don't get it do you? This is a perfect opportunity for the PCP (Political Correctness Police) to spring into action. Facts are irrelevant. Anything you might say has already been taken against you and held in the worst possible light.
