Personally, I believe all Western countries will eventually become somewhat of a police state. Here in the USA we know who the terrorist cells are and they are being monitored 24/7. It is the 'lone wolf' that has us concerned.

You say this now, I guarantee there will a time in a few years when you come to realize these onerous institutions your government set up lack the ability to prioritize and distinguish friend from foe.
