DUDE, your blindness is obvious.....and my quote stands as it is you and your rejection of what actually took place that belies your blind ignorance for sure....

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin...<-----knew no sin, but was made to be SIN
...in that he died, he died UNTO SIN ONCE<----that wages of SIN, OUR SIN IS DEATH

I suggest you study the word MADE...here I will help as it means to.....

MAKE, APPOINT, band together, to bear, to commit, to cause

Again, I suggest you open your eyes as your view alleviates what actually took place and teaches heresy...

For he hath MADE him to be SIN for us
For he hath APPOINTED him to be sin for us
For he hath to BEAR SIN for US
For he hath committed him to be SIN for us

John 1:29 Behold the LAMB of GOD, which taketh, (beareth) away the SIN OF THE WORLD

It is also obvious you lack understanding how in type and picture the sins of the PEOPE WERE TRANSFERRED TO THE LAMB that was SLAIN by the HIGH PRIEST under the SACRIFICAL SYSTEM IN THE O.T. which points to Christ

Hebrews 9:28 SO Christ was once offered to BEAR the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the SECOND TIME WITHOUT SIN unto SALVATION.

Just a hand full of scriptures that contradicts your erroneous view...I suggest two things....

1. Study MORE
2. If your going to open your mouth, know what you are talking about!
Maybe you should learn what this means:
Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. Lam.5:7

This is really the way Jesus bore the sins of men.

But you haven't explained how God only holds people responsible for their own sin. You've broken the scriptures my friend and you have no answer for it.

Gentiles certainly are Israel, if they choose to join, evidenced by their obedience to the commandments and have the testimony of Y'shua.

Gen_48:19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

Multitude = Hebrew fullness
Nations - Hebrew Gentile

Rom_11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Paul is referring to Israel's blessing on Ephraim. When House of Israel was disobedient, then subsequently divorced by God, they were captured and spread out around the world, forgetting where they came from.

Why do you distance yourself from Israel?
Why do you distance yourself from the Church made up of believing Jews and Gentiles forming the one New Man as described in Ephesians.
Israel still has prophecies pertaining to them from the OT where they come back into their land, build a Temple, go thru terrible persecution and finally call out to their Messiah in which He returns and reigns over them.
Yes, same God, different dispensation (dealings) and they are from the natural descent of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I am a believing Gentile.

Ephesians 2:14-16 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Logical fallacy. non sequiter.
Cant have it both ways crossnote. Either Jesus was was unjustly killed by God or man. Jesus said God sent Him here so men would honor Him. That leaves unjustly killed by men. Youre so wrapped up in Christian dogma you cant see the truth of the gospel.

Jesus came to die as a ransom for the sins of many (Mt 20:28

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: vs.27

To be punished by God, or to lead us to God by teaching? Which one?

I haven't broken anything bro....as I look at the over all picture instead of viewing it through a limited view.....Lamentations 5:7 has nothing at all to do with the sacrifice of Jesus and the fact that he BORE our sins on the tree!

Jesus was SINLESS and DID NO SIN and JUST like the LAMB without blemish had the sins in TYPE transferred to the LAMB by the High Priest when the hand was laid on the head of the animal is a PICTURE from the O.T. of what took place with Christ and OUR sins being transferred to HIM and HE was offered to BEAR the sins of MANY on the cross....

It is simple and easy to understand......!

Ha. That's like a Jehovah Witness giving me a proof passge that Jesus is a man and saying ''you can't have it both ways'. Another fallacy. Often with God it is not either/or, but it's both.

Exactly my thoughts as well when I seen his either or post....

Christ bore our sins upon the tree and was also put to death by wicked men who were breaking the law at the time.....simple to understand for sure!

You absolutely have broken to word of God:

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Eze.18:20

Jesus did not sin.

"The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:"

God doesn't hold people responsible for the sins of other people.

" the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him,"

Jesus was righteous

"and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."

Jesus was not wicked.

You're breaking scripture. Explain it.

Jesus was among sinners and had to "bear" all the problems that go with it. To say that God holds anyone guilty for the sins of others transgresses scripture.

And abundantly we must add as found in Jesus who satisfied the Torah and the Heavenly Father for the sake of humanity which cannot possibly hope to keep the law to the (enth) degree which is what it would take.....!

I agree scriptures say we have life more abundantly, but not everyone has this life, and proof is that which comes out of the heart like hatred, and anger which becomes very apparent.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

The only way to find this abundant life is to be Born Again, the Bible way. Which is to obey the gospel, because ...

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

The gospel is the Death, Burial, Resurrection. And, to obey it is to ...

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

To obey the gospel is to DO...

1. Death = Repent
2. Burial = water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
3. Resurrection = Holy Ghost

Some may falsely claim that the "baptism" is not water baptism, but lets look at it...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized[SUP]G907[/SUP] every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The word baptized is G907 which according to Thayer’s Greek Definitions is

baptizo

1) to dip repeatedly, to immerse, to submerge (of vessels sunk)
2) to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water, to wash one’s self, bathe
3) to overwhelm

A biblical water baptism is immersion, and in the name of "Jesus". No where in the Bible has anyone been water baptized with the words "Father, Son, Holy Ghost" pronounced over them at baptism (Matthew 28:19 is not an actual baptism taking place, it is a commandment being given as to what to do, not what to repeat verbatim). Everyone was baptized in Jesus name.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Further, only those who gladly received were added to the church...

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

That is not such good news to those those "mocking" ...

Acts 2:12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Acts 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

But then, I guess some things never change.

God bless!

@Crossnote:
Not all who were at Mt Sinai and received the Torah were decendants of Abraham, Isacc, and Jacob. If you read it speaks of "the stranger that dwells among" them. This is the Gentile. If you notice Gd states that if the gentile/stranger desires to bring an offering to Gd, he must first be circumcised and then he can bring the offering of the Passover before Gd. After he does this he is seen as a native born of Israel. Exodus 12:48~49 Thee is one law for both Lev 24:22. Torah is for ALL Nations and Israel is a PEOPLE, not a bloodline. The only time the bloodline matters is for the Levite priests (tribe of Levi) and for proving the lineage of Messiah.

Here's the difference between what you post and what I post. I've answered what "bearing sins" means without violating the scriptures. Your man made dogma won't allow you to interpret passages like the one I cited from Ezekiel, because it transgresses God word. You want to prove your point???? Interpret the Ezekiel passage I cited with respect to the death Of Jesus...or shut your mouth.

Half the posters here are seeing one part of scripture and using what they finally know and understand of truth to say that anyone who understands what they know and another part of what scripture teaches also is stupid, blind, and all wrong.

If you know law won't save, you must never, never, speak of obedience to law, they say.

If you know that following flesh is wrong, you must never, never do any good while you are human because humans are in the flesh.

Now, because Christ paid for our sin you must carry that truth in the precise way individual brains expand on that truth.

If you learn about Israel, and you learn about the church, you must never see them except as separate.

For most people, accepting the entire word of God is just out, it is so much fun to understand a part of scripture so you can Lord it over others with superiority in the knowledge.

Well I would agree and say that Jesus, John the Baptist, Paul and Moses had this abundant life and all 4 of them also exercised the two attributes that you listed....

Jesus in ANGER drove the money changers from the temple and HATEs every false way
Paul in anger said he would not SPARE when he came and hated every false way
John the Baptist ripped the Pharisees out of zeal and anger and hated every false way[
Moses broke the tables of stone out of anger and hated every false way....

So, while I agree with you we also see biblical ANGER and HATE which are attributes of God's nature...Jacob I have loved, but Esau have I HATED and many scriptures about the Hot displeasure (anger) of God and his wrath being poured out upon humanity....!

Knowing that Jesus gave His life so that I might know God is the most humbling experience I've ever had. Your theology that Jesus "paid" for our sins is so againt scripture, so against what God teaches, it has led to the false belief that Christians can burn the Lamb and be right with God. That's what they thought in Moses day. You better wake up pal.

You haven't explained how Jesus "taketh away the sins of the world" if God doesn't hold people responsible for the sins of others. Put up or shut up.
