Hey never mind I did send the PM meant for Brain to you, but I don't see how it was "nasty", but I sent it to you on accident, and just incase people are curious if it was "nasty" or not here it is.
"Ol’ Calminian must live with a bunch of scarecrows with all the straw men he builds. He said “If you agree with that, you disagree with Jim who says christians never fall into sin, and can always resist certain sins”, and “You are saying that a saved christian cannot commit certain sins but can commit others”, lol I sure wish he could point out exactly where I said these things.
Then throws this in there as his own view when this was basically what I said in the first place.
“I say that a saved christian is capable of any sin. Habitually, he no longer practices sins on an ongoing basis, but he can still slip up from time to time.”
This is the argument in Christianity that I hate the most, like Jesus died as a free pass to heaven, for you to sins as much as you want and it doesn’t matter? I just hate it when people are convinced of this like he is, throwing Romans 7 out like he skipped over 6. It sucks because I know too and I thought I was saved for a long time under that same deception, but once we are shown that truth by God, we now have to speak it as He puts it on our hearts. I really feel for this guy, he really thinks he knows what this stuff is all about, and I stumble with how to describe the change He makes in us, and how very REAL the supernatural is once that veil is lifted. All he hears is me say “Christians don’t sin”, and just “proclaiming Jesus” isn’t enough for salvation (which it’s not). He just doesn’t even try to see my point of view, and I even acknowledged a point he made about what I said about a Christian not committing the same sin twice. I just hate to see people fight for those deceptions put out here to trip us up, however I do also know it’s all His plan and I have no say in who comes to Him or who doesn’t. I would say “thanks for having my back”, but we both know we were just doing what we’re called to.
Just out of curiosity where are you from? (You don’t have to answer if you don’t want) I’m down here in the Florida panhandle and this is where I grew up to. Anyways thanks again for the support brother, and may God continue to light your way."

It's also interesting you say this PM is not nasty. I can assure you that gossip and slander are among the nastiest diseases you can introduce to a christian community. Yet it's a favorite sin among christians, as I'm guilty of it myself.
At any rate, I know you didn't mean to send this to me, but it does speak to our disagreement quite well. Any christian can commit any sin. Hopefully now you better understand the point I was making.
