Hi Love,

Not that you won't think of this suggestion yourself, but I wanted to tell you that you are definitely not alone. The system also didn't used to have "auto save" and so I'd write an entire thread, and sometimes even a poll... and then... *BLIP* everything was gone, or the screen froze up and I couldn't get anything to post.

I now take the time to copy and paste what I've written onto a word-processing document just in case.

I know that might sound like a lot of work to some people but I've had lightning strike several times more than once while trying to post a thread!!

Best wishes to you and hope you'll try again! :)
You mean you'd type so much it was safer to type it first in a text editor?

I believe you NOT! :p

Well ook ..I do....

Well of course .. someone saying they are heart broken and seeking God for answers and deliverance is a thing to roll your eyes at miss ladybug. .

Maybe I should have posted a picture of a cat falling off a table or made reference to cheese puffs and chocolate flavored sprinkles. .
I know they're supposed to be rolling eyes but I just use them for looking up and smiling.

Real rolling eyes are more like this..

I have been wrestling with an issue. .so much pain..so much fear. .

Yesterday God said buy a children's bible.. he directed me to the one I should buy.. sometimes we need to come to Him as little children. . I have begun to read this awesome bible.. I am in tears at how much God loves us. We are lovely simply because the one who IS love. ..loves us. .

Where does it say you were heartbroken? It sounded to me like you were crying tears of joy. Anyway.. I see you blocked me. Congratulations.. I'm leaving. Have fun!!

Guys, it was just a misunderstanding. Zero uses the eyerolling smiley a lot when he doesn't mean it like that. Although, Zero, I can see how someone would misunderstand it. You're both awesome. Have some pie.

I honestly thought it said BIKE, not bible. Also, I can't read minds and tell when someone is heartbroken.

There's an older guy who lives near me. He's almost 90. Sometimes we hang out, he talks about random stuff and I mostly listen. I don't see him all that often, but he's always really pleasant and kind and at least acts happy to see me.

I took him some fruit a little while ago, and he didn't answer the door. His truck was there so he wasn't gone, and he wasn't in his garden, and since he wouldn't come to the door I immediately thought, "Oh no, what if he died!" And I was there outside his house feeling all... sad, and panicked, and everything. It turns out I felt that way for no reason, because I walked around the house and he was sitting there on his back porch. He waved cheerfully at me and popped out of the cushioned seat and told me to sit there. Lol. He wouldn't take no for an answer. Then he sat on a bare metal chair and asked me to read something for him that was in small print.

The whole thing brings up something about me, maybe it's a lack of some kind or maybe it's just humanity. But I need to figure it out.

I found out I may have done something stupid.

The Lutheran church I have been attending puts on these dinners where one person signs up to cook, another signs up to be a special speaker, etc...
The whole thing looked kind of interesting, so I signed up to assist in the kitchen sometime in November, with the intent to be the head honcho cook sometime in the early Spring. Something got mixed up and I was informed that I would be cooking in November! I have a lot to do next month - Nutcracker rehearsals and performances, car pool arrangements to the bay area for rehearsals, other concerts and commitments... I have to wait until Sunday to check with things and clear up the misunderstanding, which hopefully was not due to an error on my part.

If they are in dire straights, I suppose I could do it. I'm kicking around a menu in my head. If I can't weasel out of this until the Spring, I may use CC to send out an SOS, since we have some pretty awesome cooks, and at least one (to my knowledge) professional chef.
