How does that line up with....

John 5:40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

Perfectly, how can they that do not belong to Him come to Him? They cannot hear His word, as He says "Ye cannot hear Me", therefore Ye will not be willing, it is not your will to come to Me, does any man come to Christ by his own will? Ask yourself that, consult the Bible, clearly no, Christ draws all to Him, Holy Spirit is sent by Christ and the Spirit convicts and converts the sinner, can a human being overcome the Spirit of God? No way.

Okay Cup, I will pray for you brother. You obviously have your mind made up whether God agrees with you or not.

Titus 1:16
They profess to know God, but in works they DENY Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Well you can work out your own salvation by your own will with fear and trembling, me, I was saved by God's will, it was not of myself, but a free gift, the Grace of God through faith, Christ's faith imputed to me by the Holy Spirit, I was dead in sin until Jesus Christ gave me life, I did nothing, my confession was on behalf of the Spirit and my election solely predetermined by God from before I was born. All glory and praise goes to God.

You are saved by grace through faith. Amen. THROUGH FAITH.. God has dealt each man a measure of faith. We choose where to put that faith.

John 20:27
Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

"Do not be unbelieving, but believing". It's a CHOICE. You are not saved by your choice though, you are saved by grace IF you place your faith into Christ.

Matthew 15
21 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”
24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Did Jesus just say let it BE as YOU desire BECAUSE of her faith?

"I was not sent except unto the lost sheep of Israel", and that is a fact, Judah was to go to the house of Israel first, then both Judah and Israel were to take the great commision to the world, and that was all done and achieved. The house of Judah who were Jesus' original followers and diciples were naturally divided from the lost sheep of Israel, they had been enemies in the past and had been divorced from God, and so Judah was very reluctant to go to Israel, but Jesus told them having saving them, as men of Judah "I come only for the lost sheep of Israel"....OK now we have a woman of Canaan was called a household dog, the Lord used the word Hypocatastasis implying she was a Gentile sheep of Israel who lived in the land of Canaan - she was a lost sheep of Israel. She had faith because she was from God.

Is reprobation a calvinist doctrine or a hyper-calvinist doctrine?

Will one of you theological reprobates please define reprobation for me?

I keep thinking of the Calvinist I knew who figured that, because he sins, he is not one of the elect.

Imagine what hypocritical self righteous hypercalvinists he must have been hanging with.

I went to church with him once. No musical instruments and they sit down to sing but stand up to pray.

Gentiles are not the lost sheep of Israel.. What are you talking about? The lost sheep of Israel are the scattered tribes across the nations. Gentiles were never known as sheep they were known as dogs. This lady was a gentile dog, not a gentile sheep. It says it clearly right there, you just don't want to admit the fact your theology is flawed and does not match up with the bible because you are too prideful.

Ok all those that believe that God choose some to be with Him in heaven before time begin, and some He choose to be in hell. without either having a say in the matter. and those that were chosen to be in heaven are referred to in the Bible are called the elect, could you please answer this, if paul taught us the tulip doctrine from scriptures why would he also teach us this,

2ti 2:10Therefore I endure all things for the ELECT's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

this does not say that paul does not know who the elect are , but very much that the ELECT does not have salvation, and that they need to obtain it.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Again I say, The elect are the "whosoever will's" and the non-elect are the "whosoever wont's".

The Lord is a good guy who doesn’t create people who are predestined to burn in hell forever.

Exactly. I don't care what Calvinists believe as long as they don't compromise on that point, else it shows they don't listen to the Spirit of God and don't know God. No one who truly knows God would say that God predestines some to hell apart from their own choices.

2ti 2:10Therefore I endure all things for the ELECT's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

The elect still have to get saved. No-one is saved at birth. He is saying that he is enduring so that the elect can obtain the salvataion that God predestined for them. Some of the elect were not saved at the time, as is the case now.

Spurgeon, that famous Calvinist used to pray, 'Lord, please save the elect and then elect some more'

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False Doctrines/Calvinism/spurgeon.htm

Charles Spurgeon was indeed a Calvinist, but NOT a 5-point Calvinist. Spurgeon clearly believed that anyone could come to Christ of his own freewill to be saved. Unfortunately, Spurgeon did teach "limited atonement" (the heresy that Jesus only died for the redeemed, and not the whole world). I will explain more on this later. Though Spurgeon was a professed Calvinist, he openly condemned Hyper-Calvinism (and he called it that). Hyper-Calvinists are people who reject some of the basic teachings of Calvinism. In researching, I couldn't find a group of professed believers who call themselves "Hyper-Calvinists." This is because there are NO groups who call themselves "Hyper-Calvinists." It is a term given to them by their critics. So what do they call themselves? "Calvinists," what else? So you can see that Calvinist views can vary widely since Hyper-Calvinists also claim to be "Calvinists." The Truth is that BOTH Calvinism and Hyper-Calvinism are of the Devil.

Calvin never heard of TULIP.

To Calvin, Faith and Assurance are synonymous.

Gentiles are not the lost sheep of Israel.. What are you talking about?

My thread 'Who are the Gentiles' is available to read on my public view on this forum, I am sure it can answer all your questions.

The lost sheep of Israel are the scattered tribes across the nations.

That's right, they also became nations as well, fullfilling promises made to Abraham by God.

Gentiles were never known as sheep they were known as dogs.

I think your getting some key words mixed up, namely 'nations' and 'Gentiles', the Greek word ethnos means 'one of the same tribe', of a like kind or class, from where we get the words 'genus', 'gentle', 'gentry', 'genteel', see the Latin GENS - meaning to beget or produce of the same kind - ethnos - see Liddel & Scott.

This lady was a gentile dog, not a gentile sheep.

Specifically a 'household dog', I gave you the word for this, it was common for Judah to see divorced Israel in this manner, however Jesus set the men of Judah straight on this saying in His ministry "I come only for the lost sheep of Israel' whom were scattered abroad, like this woman in Canaan land, who was a believer in the Messiah, just like the Samaritans were descended from Jacob, Jesus went to them early in His ministry because they were Israel.

It says it clearly right there, you just don't want to admit the fact your theology is flawed and does not match up with the bible because you are too prideful.

I know what it says and I'm explaining to you what it means, so you can understand, I don't wish that anyone dwell in darkness and ignorance.

Yes hyper-calvinists would definitely not identify themselves as such. I can't find anywhere that says that John Calvin (or even the TULIP system) teaches reprobation.
