you know i am exceedingly not Catholic, but if given the chance, i would eat lunch with the pope too, and most likely have my picture taken with him.

imagine the e-drama that would go on if everyone had had cell-phone-cameras in the 1st century?
oh the "scandal!"
all day Faux news would be showing and blabbing about all those pictures of Jesus with the sinners that He sat down to eat with. . .

come to think of it, Jesus could never be elected in America. once the press found out that He was always traveling with tax collectors etc, they would "crucify" Him in the media.

Hey man, I was thinking the exact same thing! I'd love to sit down and have a meal and chat with the pope, not a catholic but i'd still sit and eat a meal with him. and oh yes, the scandal! lol

I hoped to find some more on this, because I don't normally use a single site to make a point about anything. I wanted others to give their input about the charismatics showing a desire to join the "mother church". I've heard that others like Joel Osteen are working with this as well. Is this the beginning of the spiritual whore of Babylon depicted in Revelation?

I care my kind friend. This just in: some folks on this site have no clue about a lot of things. Trolls I believe they are called. Mis guided children, clouds without water, you pipe a tune, they will not dance, you mourn and they start to party. Jesus had this same problem with the religious leaders of a His day.
No matter what ahead say, they would make a mockery of it. Be not surprised. The servant is not greater than the master. If they hated Him, they will hate you also. But their disdain is really toward him, not you personally. Nothing new under the sun.

They shall heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. They will not endure sound doctrine.

The popes crowd has long been about setting aside doctrine for the sake of unity. Laying the ground work for the coming of the one world religion.

Perhaps we should rejoice that we will soon be united with our Savior and all this suffering will be forever over.

2000 years of Holy Spirit lead Godly men and women and we are no closer to understanding Revelation. I wonder whose fault that is? You would think by now someone would have it completely figured out and not guessing at photo-ops.
