When you are about to use the last of the toilet paper, but you are in a hurry and don't want to have to put a new roll on, so you use part of a new roll, but leave it for someone else to change. :o

I leave dishes in the sink to soak. Then i do them. What's the issue?
And i've resolved the toilet paper issue. I don't use a holder. Now no one has to worry about replacing the roll (and by no one i mean me).

Leaving them to soak and coming back to do them is fine. Leaving them "to soak" is to leave them there hoping the other party will get around to them before you run out of dishes.

it seems like always make too much food. seriously. i eat leftovers so much that i get tired of it, and it's like i want to bury the rest of my soup in the backyard and pretend that it's gone.

seldom do i make a batch of soup that couldn't feed a neighborhood. i never plan on it, but it kind of works out like that. i give away a lot of food to a couple bachelor guy pals, neighbors, and anyone else who has the misfortune of stopping by when i have extra food.

otherwise, i fill my freezer with 342554 containers of said soup, and am eating it forever.

what an disgusting, ridiculous problem. too much food. makes me want to mail my food elsewhere to the hungry people who could really use it.

but that isn't terribly practical.

Ugly, I leave my dishes to soak sometimes. Especially if they have stuff hardened onto them. My tub is beside my toilet so I don't use the toilet paper holder either..the edge of the tub works much better..lol :)

Please mail me soup.

You realize we are in the minority, right?

If I leave dishes in the sink overnight or after a long day my roommate washes them. I really should tell him to stop, but hard to tell someone else to stop washing your dishes. FTR, I do wash my own dishes most of the time...

I also don't use a toilet paper holder, no sense in wasting time changing it when i'm perfectly fine without using one. :)

Another one that doesn't work is "hey can you stop by the grocery store on the way home and grab something for me".

That's a pretty good deal. If i left my dishes in the sink....well....... they'd still be there until i washed them..

i just have to say that not using a tp holder is nasty. im not going to get into why because it would be too much information.

note - i am typing with 1 hand because my left hand is out of commission right now

Yeah making healthy meals. I will cook like 3 course dinners (meat, starch, veggies) at work. At home, I don't grocery shop. I eat out. Cus I eat at work a lot and left overs. And my hatred for cleanings dishes.

Buying a Queen-size mattress even though they are the sizes that typically go on sale (at least here).

Getting a 1 bedroom apartment (or a home- good luck in this economy). Shared-space living all the way!

See this joke only works for guys, but I'm covered if I ever have a queen. In the meanwhile, I can decide which side of the bed I want to sleep on each night - so that's a plus. I guess a woman would have to buy a king size mattress to make that joke, but those things are too dang huge even for two people (they are wide enough to almost fit three fully grown adults, who has space for that).

Actually, who am I kidding, I almost always sleep on the same side, the one closest to the wall. I like that wall.
