If you think the Levitical laws are still applicable, you do not understand the NT.
And I disagree with your opinion.

It's all a matter of how you define "applicable".

The way the English dictionary defines it, and its conventional usage.

No one can keep the law.....NO ONE!

MATTHEW 19

16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good[e] Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”
17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good?[f] No one is good but One, that is, God.[g] But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18 He said to Him, “Which ones?”
Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’[h] and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”[i]
20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth.[j] What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Well you certainly are welcome to your opinion.
Non-responsive.

The Law was not given for righteousness, it was given to reveal sin (Ro 3:20, 4:15, 7:13; Gal 3:11).

Obedience to the new covenant law of Christ as spoken by the Son in these last days (Heb 1:1-2),
through the NT writers in the commands and exhortations of the NT, is the means of sancitification
for the people of God in the new covenant cut in the blood of God's one and only Son.

Exactly. That was intentional.
Well enough.

I accept that you do not understand the NT and have no response for the above.

I don't exactly see how your passage is saying no one can keep the law. Certainly, we cannot keep it for salvation's sake, but Jesus is telling His disciples to do and teach the Law.

"Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 5:19

So you're telling me Jesus did not FULFILL the Law as He said? Salvation equals Jesus + _____ ?

The law say's to sacrifice a lamb and sprinkle it's blood on the mercy seat. Are you suggesting that we do that?

Nope, I'm not saying that at all. He said Himself that He fulfilled it a few verses prior.

Is he saying that the law which is a unit so that whoever stumbles at just one point
is guilty of breaking all of it (Jas 2:10), is a pick-and-choose as you please?
