The bible does speak about both personal tribulations that people face, and the tribulation period.

And what I said about the army the antichrist will command, and the 1,000 year reign of Christ is in the bible.
Plus those who study the prophecies in the bible see this. The 1,000 year reign of Christ is in Revelation, as so is the 200 million man army. The antichrist coming to power is in Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Isaiah.

Revelation also talks of the pestilence, hunger, and death that will inflict our world in the last days, Jesus mentions these and signs that lead up to them in Matthew 24.

Matthew 24:10-13

And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Matthew 10:22

And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Mark 13:9-13

“But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them. And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations. And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Lord Jesus makes it clear that we must endure the things we face in life, and keep true in our belief in Him to be saved.
My Friend! You MUST know that the scriptures agree with me.

But the "last days" according to scriptures has been going on for 2000 years now. It isn't some "future last days" that we are left to the tales of the "futuristic" prophets.
The Bible doesn't SAY it is futuristic.
Every aspect of what has been spoke has been continually fulfilled in the Body of Christ since the Time of Christ. It has ALL been last days. There is no such thing as ANOTHER LAST DAYS where all this bizarre superstitious religiousness of another physical appearance of Jesus sitting in the middle east or some such related nonsense of the futuristic prophecies... As I said, the Bible contains the verses. But only YOU gut the past and present application of it and put it into the future in front of everybody, THEN say it is in the Bible without proof, giving scriptures that have nothing to DO with the idea of 2000 years in the future!
That's all I'm saying. It is well thought out, well spoken, with hope that you would really think about it. I'm either seriously mental, or maybe you owe it to yourself to really prove out these prophesies of futurism in place of preaching the Gospel of Salvation. Because believe me you, God is quite aware of the difference.

Gnostic interpretations also were into unrighteous doings to fulfill lusts of the flesh and did not obey the commandments of Jesus at all...
But it is ok - I got out of Catholic church and they did the same to me on my way out :)

Pestilence, hunger and death do inflict the world already because the world turned away from God. Look up sword + famine + pestilence in OT, they appear together all the time - it is an interesting study.
Man sits in the temple of God and proclaims he is God.
What is the New covenant temple of God?
Correct, to endure till the end - of one's journey on here... just as your signature says.
Jesus cannot be telling a person to endure till the end of the world when they only live a lifetime.

Yes I know this, but the number of people that are dying from it are not the numbers mentioned in the tribulation period.
The tribulation period speaks of a seven year period where 1/3 of the earth will die off in this time. That many people have not died in that type of time frame yet.

Arguing with a preterist is futile crossnote

I have done it for years and there is no bending .... those that entertain this striped down ruse are far off the road

Preterism is another gospel and has no biblical support whatsoever .... a very broad road to dance on

The popular thing that has grown out of this apostate thinking is the "emergent church" theology .... look it up on the Internet

The theme of this movement is that the Bible is irrelevant for today's post modern world because there is nothing future about it ..... all of it relates to the past which has already taken place and we can't understand it anyway so why bother

True, I failed to say what says says, but it is what is is. Anyway, I don't believe in evolution, but threads like these prove devolution.
You're not saying. ..

Proverbs 26:4-5
4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Well, that you mention it, yes! Especially verse 4 there. I have enough folly of my own, can't afford to take on more! (As to verse 5, there may be the framework of a verse 5.1, in that there are those very much wise in their own conceit, already, but perhaps the Bible didn't anticipate trolls.)

The best policy for the preterist is to ignore them .... they will eventually go away

If you continue to entertain them they will hang around forever, and in my opinion their presence makes a mockery of the Lord's Word .... not good for those who look on and see the scrapping

Many Christian message boards do not allow preterism to be posted for this reason

Where do you get your studying from?

The bible does clearly show a second coming of the Lord, and that the 144,000 from the twelve Jewish tribes will be with Him. He casts the antichrist and false prophet into the lake of fire, and imprisons satan for 1,000 years in which Christ rules down here on earth for that time.

Then He releases satan again upon the earth, which leads to the final encounter where He wipes all sin and evil away.
Which sets up the Great White Judgment. Revelation mentions all of this, and Daniel, Ezekiel, and Isaiah all point to this second coming as well.
Revelation shows Him standing with the 144,000 on Mount Zion.

Plus the bible does mention a seven year tribulation period, with 3 1/2 years of it being great tribulation as nobody has ever seen before.

Yes we are in the last days, but the bible does specifically talk about a certain portion of these last days as being the tribulation period that ends with Gods bowl judgments on the earth. Gods bowl judgments have not been poured out yet on the earth, nor has some of the events Revelation talks about.

You say I give no biblical proof, but I have given you proof.
The thing is though you will not accept what I say unless I put scriptures on here. Well sorry, but I am not going to put all of Revelation on here, and most of the chapters from the books of Daniel, Isaiah, and Ezekiel as well as the other prophets to show it. That would take way to much time.

All I can do is say read those books for yourself, and study the prophecies given.
Notice how even when Jesus was speaking of future events to take place to His disciples He referred back to Daniel because that prophecy had yet and still yet to be fulfilled.

So you say. Well that is called Judeo-Christiansim. A raped version of Christianity with help from such sources as the Scofield reference Bible, from the Jew SCOFIELD, to bend the minds of Christians around the concept of the Jews as Gods chosen, and all to be in the future. And you've fallen for it hook line and sinker and WHAT DO YOU HAVE LEFT TODAY? The Gospel to Israel has been gutted. Everyone reads the scriptures, then put on their little "futurism" hat and divorce themselves and everyone else from the Promise of the Father the Abrahamic Covenant. Even GIVING it AWAY! To the antichrist Jews... from whom I was Saved! Oh this is something, I need to get a glass of water, this is biazarre, you give away your birthright, just like Esau, even after being warned three times...

The same is true of members of any cult. The opportunities for scripture misapplication and philosophically building on that shaky ground are endless, as limited as imagination, and it will never end. Catholics are best equipped, as they have that shaky ground, then added to that a veritable Brothers Grimm of traditions and Papal bloviations to call upon. They sometimes argue themselves into a corner, as all the contradictions are so hard to keep track of. And it's always the same pattern, a verse of scripture, then a paragraph or more of man's twisting it into a pretzel, another Bible verse, another explanation that could as well fit on the back of a cereal box, et cetera... never ending. And just when you think they're exhausted, they start repeating themselves!

You women must think alike, in riddles; My wife does it with me, alot.! If you want to be understood, PLEASE DON"T us a pronoun without its antecedent. I have to guess, that the "man" in the temple is /was Jesus. So many posts on this page are totally unintelligent, to me, I like to know who and what you are talking about. I assume that you don't believe that Jesus is God eternal. I assume you want to interpret Jesus' word "end" as the end of our life time; I would agree, and since so much time has come and gone, I think we are correct. EXCEPT, for those Jews ,who will go through the "Jacobs Trouble" which is the last 3.5 yrs just before Jesus returns to earth to rule, those Jews will be saved at Jesus coming to earth to rule. I also assume that you,"Soulweaver" are not a Christian.? Is this "are" true? LOL I assume you are a member of the Israel Army. ?? Any why, I bless you in Jesus', Gods, Name. LOVE to all, Hoffco

This way you can post truth without the confusion and the battle involved

And, yes the RCC is the largest preteristic pusher on the block .... and there are others that do the same

Just remember, the fall of mankind started with alot of assumptions!! LOL!! ;)And I agree with SoulWeaver--this is a very rude, judgmental post. To falsely assume things is a dangerous thing, my friend. To accuse someone without actual knowlege is even worse. And if so many of people's posts on here are unintelligent, why do you even read and reply to them? This forum is so frickin' judgmental..no wonder nobody likes to come here!!! :/

Present day Jews? God's "chosen"??!

Does anyone here have any idea that absolute corruption of this present day "Israel" imposter counry I live in? I have to sit here awaiting the end, and the spiritual stink is as a black oily smoke rising to Heaven. This place has a soon retribution, and it's gonna be a hot one. Very next thing on the calendar kiddies.

There is nothing any more "Chosen" about the Jews who murdered Jesus, and the religious system still in place TODAY.

Here is the festering religion that governs the rabbis...

Universal Jewish Encyclopedia 1943:

"The Jewish religion as it is today traces it's descent without a break through all the centuries from the Pharisees. Their leading ideas and methods found expression in a literature of enormous extent of which a very great deal is still in existence. The TALMUD is the largest and most important single piece of that literature... and the sudy of it is essential for any real understanding of Pharisaism"

to be continued.

1905 Jewish encyclopedia says;

"with the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD the Sadducees disappeared altogether, leaving the regulation of all Jewish affairs in the hands of the Pharisees. Henceforth, Jewish life was regulated by the Pharisees; the whole history of Judaism was reconstructed form the Pharisaic point of view, and a new aspect was given the Sanhedrin of the past. A new chain of tradition supplanted the older priestly tradition (Abot1:1). Pharisaism shaped the character of Judaism and the life and thought of the Jew for all the future"

unquote. More to come of those "special CHOSEN Jews" of yours, coming right up! :)

Presenting truth is what is important, agree entirely. I don't often engage in circular bantering, and, if so, more for amusement than anything else, usually in a thread that's, in the first place, laid waste. There are a few outright trolls here that are being fed, just poking Christians with a stick, stirring the pot for attention. I'm surprised they're essentially saying the same inflammatory things, over and over, isn't caught by many. Some of these threads go on for pages of repetitive, boring content you'd think should quickly die off, but the troll is here for attention, not content, and they won't stop, as long as they get that attention.

Wrong, I have given nothing away.
And the Jews have not been cast away by God either. We were grafted in because of our belief in Jesus, and they were broken off because of unbelief in Jesus.
Those Jews that chose to accept Jesus will be saved to. If the Lord our God cast away the Jews then Peter, Matthew, Luke, John, Mark, James, Paul, and all the other disciples/apostles are not saved. This is false.

Lord Jesus even tells us to bless them, and we will be blessed. If we curse them, we will be cursed.
Most of the Jews only walk in blindness because of their unbelief in Jesus, but the bible makes it clear that they will be made to see their mistake and they will come to see Jesus as their Messiah.
