You do not read much of the word do you? or do you read it with closed eyes?

If God does not keep his promise to them, then we have no hope of him keeping his promise to us either.

to SeaBass:

but you'll get "if God doesn't keep His promise to give an unbelieving group who hates Him a piece of dirt, how can we know He'll keep His promise to us (christians)".

proving the mind-blowing ignorance of who God made His promises to.
and there it is....the most childish theological defense EVER

you have no idea what any of the promises were or to whom they were made on what conditions.
living in a half world where christians are some afterthought.

That shows how little you have studied.

1. They repent (as lev 26 requires for restoration)
2. God restors them AFTER they repent, (not before)

It was all prophesied, but if you studied, you would know this.

Yet another attack of something he thinks we believe which is not true.

The full preterist is horribly blindsided by human pride and is out to systematically destroy the very fabric of the Bible

.... they all do this

The most offending attack ever launched against the Lord and His Word of truth

He also said the Mosaic Covenant was eternal.
are you living in a half world?

It is eternal. Even God and the new testament apostles prove it.

gal 3: [SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”[SUP][e][/SUP]

[SUP]24 [/SUP]Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [SUP]25 [/SUP]But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

the law still condemns to this day, It still teaches to this day, It NEVER EVER EVER SAVED ANYONE.

were the jews promised the new covenant?
does the new covenant promise dirt? or eternal slavation in a far better country?
don't bother answering.
the new covenant is the fulfiment of the abrahamic covenant which said "in you shall all the nations of the world be blessed"

It has nothing to do with "And I give you and your descendents after you ALL THE LAND OF CANAAN, as an eternal inheritance.

Two aspects.

the remnant repented. ever read the NT?
and jews repent all the time.

He restored them.

just not the way the apostates (and you) thought He would. But He hides his wisdom as He chooses.

The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. When they finished,

James spoke up. “Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. Simon has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written:

“ ‘After this I will return
and rebuild David’s fallen tent.
Its ruins I will rebuild,
and I will restore it,

that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
even all the Gentiles who bear my name,
says the Lord, who does these things’ —
things known from long ago.

“It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”

The Council’s Letter to Gentile Believers
Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, men who were leaders among the believers. With them they sent the following letter:

The apostles and elders, your brothers,
To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia:
Greetings.

We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul— men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

Farewell.

So the men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they gathered the church together and delivered the letter. The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message. Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers. After spending some time there, they were sent off by the believers with the blessing of peace to return to those who had sent them. But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.

No your the one who has no clue, And sea bass believes more of what you believe than me, Your barking up the wrong tree.

You claim lev 26 is no longer valid. I claim it is.

You claim Gods eternal GIFT is no longer valid. I claim it is.

Paul does also. He states himself, Gods gifts and calling are irrevocable. He also warns people like you not to think you are smarter than you are. That israel has been blinded in part. until the time of the gentil is complete. Then ALL ISREAL WILL BE SAVED.

He also says Israel is our enemy concerning the gospel (they reject Christ) but beloved according to the promises.

You have major issues with these passages.

rom 11:
[SUP]25 [/SUP]For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part (there will always be a remnant) has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. [SUP]26 [/SUP]And so all Israel will be saved,[SUP][g][/SUP] as it is written:

The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
[SUP]27 [/SUP]For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”[SUP][h][/SUP]

Spoken future tense, not past tense.

are you under Law?
are jews?
what does Leviticus 26 say?
does it belong to Law?
you're under it.
making you a false teacher with no idea of Law & Gospel.

a toxic mix of theology invented and crafted over about 200 years. nothing to do with the True God and His people.
apparently you're not His people.

and you make the God of peace a real estate agent going against His revelation of Himself in His Son.
believing false doctrine is idolatry.

it makes God a liar

It makes you destroy the word of God, misinterpret it, and makes God out to be a false prophet.

And yes, lets look at lev 26:

[SUP]40 [/SUP]‘But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,

[SUP]41 [/SUP]and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies;
if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt—
[SUP]42 [/SUP]then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember;
I will remember the land.

[SUP]44 [/SUP]Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them;

for I am the Lord their God.
[SUP]45 [/SUP]But for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God:

I am the Lord.’”

Nope. God never kept salvation from the jews for thousands of year. In fact, the first people saved were jews, the leaders of the early church were jews, And most of the early church were jews. in fact there are many saved jews in my church.

And I am not saying we should kill anyone to give them land, this is rediculous, and just proves you have utterly no desire to find out what I believe, but are head bent on destroying anything that does not agree with you.

so your interpretation of the notoriously abused Romans passages doesn't say that God blinded the jews in whole or in part for thousands of years?

of course it does. it's the only way your proposition works.

And if you knew anything about the word of God, you would know yes daniel repented, but that is NOT what lev 26 says, It says if THEY (as a nation) the nation has never repented, since they were first scattered.

and you would also know Daniel was told when Isreal would repent, After the abomination which makes desolate, made by the prince of the people who destroyed jerusalem in 70 AD.

You think you are smart. but you prove by your words you do not know what we believe, let alone what scripture says,

Your hate of the jewish nation is not new, you have just followed everyone from the time they were born who hates them, and wish them total annihilation, even though God, Your God promised in lev 26 to never let that happen, EVEN when they were deep in sin. because in doing so, even as God said, would break his promise to their fathers.

you did not even read that did you? you could not have, or you would have commented on it, not just make an ad hominem attack.

"this is NOT a tear every one down forum"

But you must understand that there are those on this forum who must take a standing for the Lord's Word .... this is part of the package that the true Christian must carry

.... and this battle will not cease for sure .... it must continue

Otherwise His objective to have witness by His Ecclesia will fizzle into nothing

Both the Lord, His prophets, and His apostles caused controversy

You cannot ignore this fact .... so take your stand and fight the good fight

You listen to men. And who said I believed in a rapture? did I say that?

See what I mean, You have been spoon fed your belief, and are unwilling to even look at truth.

Your a listener of men not God, you prove it every time you accuse someone of something they believe, which is not even true.
