Recently I saw on the news that a school cancelled Christmas because it was offensive to a handful of Muslims with children attending the school. Not only that but they took all the holiday names off the calender. There are so many other situations where political correctness has gone way over the line.So what do you think about the new PC generation? For or against?

I don't know, as an atheist I'm all for the eradication of religion. However i don't want one eradicated because of another... Which is what Seems to be happening.

Weakness .... another sign of the Lord's withdrawing His protection of the US because of the nation's declining support for Israel and for ignoring His providence and direction that was once a part of US moorings

I'm guessing that they will change it into the Winter Solstice day, but I believe that it should be change to the rightful month, and that is in the month of the celebration of the First Fruit.

Yes..yes..yes..to get to the end we need to go through the middle..but I do not think that means Christians should roll over and play dead..our job is not to do that but to stand up for Jesus..I sometimes wonder if that is why God gives us these small issues to work through..so we can learn to stand up for when the big "end" comes along! Just a thought out loud!lol

Its a tricky line I understand. If we silence one we silence another. If I want my freedom to believe I have to give you freedom to not believe. I do have an issue with some Muslims because I am not afford the freedoms in their country that some are demanding here. That to me is unfair. But we've become so PC that even comediennes are saying they cant joke anymore. It just seems it has gone too far the other way now.JMO

Obviously against it, but I do think that these things reach a point, as with all the works of Satan, where it goes too far, and at that point people begin to wake up and see it for what it is. I think that will happen; hopefully sooner rather than later.
I'm thinking the same thing with abortion; it's been going on for so long but now it's going a step further with late term abortions and even the recent whisperings of post-birth "abortion", people are bound to wake up to the reality

Hopefully.

I have always found it ironic that the most politically incorrect generations in history are the one that hides behind political correctness the most.

Muslims can never be happy until things are going their way, otherwise they threaten you. Even then they still aren't happy. But of course, tolerance is the key here... Don't get me started on that since I'm already in a bad mood and have some place to be pretty soon.

All I'll say is, since we're so hooked up on tolerance (which pretty much suppresses any other idea a person has compared to what is accepted), we're asking for it.

Against!! it serve as a "political purpose" for the secular world in the name of the 'almighty' $$$$.
There is without a doubt a "movement" to derail the strength in the Christian community.

I worked for a young Muslim businessman for a few years and we became friends as well. He told me that I was the only Christian he ever spoke with who presented Jesus Christ in a way which was appealing to his heart. We had numerous friendly conversations about religion and he would often ask me to pray to Jesus on his behalf. He truly wanted to know the Lord but was struggling as his devout Muslim family were absolutely not accepting of Christians.

On the other hand, one of his Muslim associates visited our business and told me straight out that my being a Christian was a violent attack on his person. He told me that if it was allowed in the US that he would kill me for "attacking" him. I ran from him in tears and asked my boss to make him leave.

Unfortunately there is the problem.I guess we can only witness to those who allow it and let God deal with the others.I believe the Muslim faith is evil, not that all who are Muslim are, some are seeking like you said. But the faith itself is evil and has kept people in bondage.

to me, it is not about political correctness, it is about suppressing Christ and Christians. why does no one care if we are offended?? or if something violates our beliefs??

Don't understand how some can come to a country and then tell folks after settling in, how the country offends them.

I think the above comment is a pretty healthy, and balanced, dose of reality.

- There are Muslims seeking Christ, that we should witness to with love.

- There are Muslims who'd like to kill us... that we might do well to avoid.

Even the dangerous ones still need to hear about Jesus.

Some political correctness is a quid pro quo, like the homosexual vote. Mr. Obama began, stating he believed marriage a man and a woman. We know what he says now, which grabs a voting block and Hollywood money. Downfall? Beyond very wrong, the faithful must conclude the voting block not worth what could happen, if God chimes in, regarding a nation/world polluting His ordained natural order and holy marriage.

I will politely disagree. People shouldn't have the freedom to act like savages. Religious beliefs shouldn't be respected, they should be suspected. Especiallly when it turns people into animals like it does in the Muslim faith.

I will not give them or Their fellow believers an inch and will actively fight against any presence in this country.

1 in 10 of them may act like lunatics but the other nine are facilitators and enablers. This is not a matter of race, this is a matter of absurd beliefs and extreme actions based on those ridiculous beliefs.

I'm sorry, I have no tolerance for these barbarians and will not apologise for my statements.

They claim a special right to their faith and culture and they claim it with a gun or a sword.

And while I wouldnt mourn the demise of christianity, i wouldn't want it at the hands of these muslim lunatics.

Political correctness=let's pretend and not offend.
Another cloak for the self righteous........

Proverbs 24:23

These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
24He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
25But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
