They go to heaven. You can't lose your salvation.

I too agree with you Trying.
I kinda knew this guy once and he died cuz he committed suicide. But the reason he did was cuz he was helping ppl get a demon out of their house, and he was showing God's love to them, so satan made him fall back into a bad habit and offed him, cuz he was a threat.
God was clearly using this man to help His kingdom, so I doubt he went anywhere but heaven.

i'm sorry i have to diagree, the bible is clear we have to endure to the end, thou shall not murder. if you are truly saved you will know that life is prescious even if you don't think so jesus does! and we are the temple of the living GOD and the bible says if ''anyone'' destroys that temple he will destroy them.now that word destroy dosn't sound like save does it?now i realize we all know people that have been lost this way but we can't deny what the word says, because a lie makes us feel better.we have to tell the truth to those still living who may be considering this, those that are gone have made that decision but there is hope for those who are still living 1 cor6:19-20 1cor2:16-17 if anyone would tell you that it is ok to murder yourself they are lying, ask GOD and see what he says! and if anyone is considering this please don't JESUS LOVES YOU and his grace is sufficent. and if you think you are right that you will go to heaven, and i,m wrong.just think of how much you gamble to find out.if im wrong i lose nothing,if you are wrog the blood of everyone who beleived that you would not go to hell is on your hands, and you will have to give account for every idle word.please consider what you are wagering words are powerful.everylife is tough and but there is nevera reseason to end it.

I dont know the answer to this question. I asked my husband and he thinks you would go to hell if a Christian committed suicide because once you are dead, you can no longer ask for forgiveness. I prefer to leave the decisions and judgements to God. If he wants me to know the answer, then I will know it.

As someone who has been very depressed, panicky, and fearful for the last week, suicide, especially those first few days, looked awfully appealing. To go to Heaven and not have the pain of my earthly body anymore, to not have the depression and anxiety and fear, to go to Heaven and be with Jesus and God, who WOULDNT want that?

But somehow, I dont think that all those martyrs who had to go through sickness and illness and pain and suffered through it to the end with Jesus's name on their lips as they died would be as understanding of a sucidal decision as us here on earth who can rationalize and justify all we want.

No one can tell me that their depression, or fear, or panic is worse then anyone else. I have been there. I am in the middle of it NOW! But suicide can not possibly be the right answer. No one can tell me that people who have pain racked bodies have it harder or easier then someone who has an emotional or mental illness. A cancer victim racked with pain, or a person with a mental illness racked with depression, neither is better or worse in God's eyes.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And even though everyone in the world can say yes you go to hell, or no you dont go to hell, the only one who truly, truly knows the truth is God. God is love, but God is also cruel. His cruelty is refining. He is a jealous God, and a just God and he can not stand for sin to be in his presence. Do you REALLY want to test him on this when there is no way to take it back?

Yeah, I agree with that. I didn't for a long time. My close friend killed himself on his birthday and it was extremely tough to think that it was an automatic ticket to Hell. But yeah its not, I read the bible for ages trying to find a 'loophole' but yes once saved, always saved.

No “created thing” can separate a Christian from God’s love, and even a Christian who commits suicide is a “created thing,” then not even suicide can separate a Christian from God’s love. Jesus died for all of our sins, and if a true Christian, in a time of spiritual attack and weakness, commits suicide, that would still be a sin covered by the blood of Christ.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,d neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord

I believe it is possible to commit suicide without being permanently separated from God. It depends on the circumstances.

It's nothing personal. I just happen to hate all pretty 18 year old lasses from the state of Wyoming.
not to be mean, but please, fight, bicker, banter etc. elsewhere, and try to stay on topic.
as the person who started this thread said, keep it civil.

Oh okay. It'll be our little secret. I hope you get to stay this time because I've been on the wrong side of the banhammer before and I know how frustrating it is, especially when it's over something trivial, or the mods' reasoning doesn't even make sense.

But anyway, I don't hate you and I never have. What gave you that idea? Or were you' referring to ChristianChat in general?

There's no way anyone in their right mind can think killing themselves will get them into heaven. If I rob a bank, so I get to be corporate executive? Lol that is an insane way of thinking!!
