T. Rex lived mostly where currently is Western North America. Migration of people from Asia into that area happened very recently in the human timeline, so if any connection of earliest N. Americans is made to drawings of dinosaurs or other records, that would at least verify coexistence of humans and dinosaurs where dinosaurs lived. That explains why nobody in the Middle East saw such a dinosaur, and inclusion of it in the Bible would have amounted to a fairy tale to early readers.

I doubt any dinosaurs would have survived in significant numbers during region-wide human food shortages after the flood, such animals making fine meals for very hungry folks.

I forgot to ask the question and my 5 minute time limit ran out hah.....Is it not possible that the similarities between the two accounts as well as the accounts of other ancient cultures be due to the fact that the stars teach one central thought and or line of truth, but it has been corrupted down through the ages by astrology as opposed to astronomy?

If this were true then we should see similar accounts cropping up in areas that are very far removed. The entire Levant has been interconnected for thousands of years. It is one big trading area and we should expect to see similar cultural beliefs. I am not surprised that the myths of the Canaanites, Babylonians, and yes, the Hebrews, should have many points in common, but notice that the Chinese, Australian aboriginals, and Mesoamericans, show no commonality.

Could the three listed not have anything in common due to the location on the planet and their particular view of the sky like the Chinese being in the northern hemisphere and the Australian aboriginals being in the southern hemisphere as I have never seen the southern cross as I live in North America as you know and likewise and my friends in Australia have never seen the North Star and or the big dipper?

not saying the zodiac existed first at all.....during the Babylonian captivity under Nechadnezar (sp) Daniel had many conflicts with the Magi, a hereditary priesthood; however Daniel did introduce them to the Mazzeroth-that's how the 3 wisemen knew to watch the heavens for the sign of the birth of the Savior.

Astrology with its calendar systems seems to be a common practice among Babylonians, Chinese, Mesoamericans and others.

Ziggurats or temple towers or pyramids are another common expression of ancient cultures that are found in such diverse locations to include Babylon, Iran, Egypt, Mesoamerica, and China.

I have thought that such commonalities in ancient cultures at diverse locations hold possibilities for a common heritage of mankind who then spread from a common location (i.e. like the Tower of Babel - Genesis 11:1-9).

The continents are understood by both geologists and the Bible (Genesis 10:25) to have once been one and then broken apart.

More research would be needed.

I agree that the Mazzeroth existed since God created the sun, moon and stars for signs, seasons, days and years and I fully agree that it had been corrupted by astrology and men who knew not the truth....Is there a verse in Daniel that states or implies that he is the one to share the Mazzeroth with the Magi in Babylon as I don't recall reading that....not saying he didn't do it, but I don't remember reading that even though I have read Daniel numerous times...Nebuchadnezzar <--how to spell it

Some 70-million-year-old fossils are worth a million bucks, like the one referred to in your post and this article:

First, you will never get an athiest to repent of his sins by proving or disproving dinasaurs. Secondly, we know very little to nothing about dinasaurs in the first place.

There is no such thing as an athiest you know.

There appears to be some disagree as to what T. rex and other dinosaurs tasted like:

What we do know, according to the Smithsonian article cited above that the dinosaur "has not walked the earth in the past 65 million years."

So I can understand a discussion of whether T. rex tasted better with ketchup or mustard, but a discussion of whether T. rex walked the Earth more than 65 million years ago or less than 6,000 years ago doesn't make much sense to me, other than nonsense on the part of Young Earth Creationists.

We kept chickens many years and never saw a connection to a 9 ton T. Rex

it's absurd. They can believe that, but refuse to believe the news of unmineralized blood cells in T. Rex fossil bones.

I'm looking online for a hamburger joint out west. In the 1960's here and there along the road were signs every mile like Burma Shave did. Biggest......Burger........Ahead.......DINO........Burger

Soon you would see a brontosaurus in the distance miles away. The burgers were huge, came in Bronto Burger, Rex Burger, etc. Well, that was a good deal for the money, but I suspect it was all ground beef, as there was no chicken flavor They probably had to use that since all the dinos had been harvested.

Walk away from such a debate, it will only serve to waste your time.

God will not override our free will. If we are to follow Him, then we are not to override the free will of others. If someone genuinely wants to learn about God and the biblical texts, then we are to help them understand as best we can. However, if someone wants to argue about the bible, then we are to bid them a good day and walk away.. our time is better spent on those who genuinely want to listen.
