I really, really hope that the woman is asked not to come back. I think your church has to take a stand and ask her not to be involved with the Sunday School for some time. That may do a world of good for your Sunday School, though it will take a lot of convincing and prayers to make the parents let the kids come again. But I wish that God speaks to that woman and she has a change of heart. I will keep praying for this problem, Fenner. The last thing thing we want is to have little kids stumble and lose their faith because of one wrong person. :(

Thank you , yes prayers are appreciated. Actually the youth program is on Thursdays, but some of the kids from that group come to Sunday School. They won't stop coming to Sunday School, that's good. However we get some from the neighborhood who may not know about God, so bringing them in is important. Unfortunately the role model department in that area hasn't been good, it needs to change. Not just her either, I know of one time the high school kids were invited to camp out for a weekend and one of the adults in charge was drinking. I know because my Nephew was there and this guy tried to drive them somewhere to eat after he drank his beer. My Nephew wouldn't go, he thought my Nephew over reacted. I was furious when I heard that and said something to the effect of, you're the adult you should know better and you shouldn't be drinking alcohol at a Youth club trip. So it's been a long time coming. I wish more parents would step up and say something.

This is the latest hat I made. It was really fun to make.

The hat band and fabric flower are interchangeable. That way I get several different looks out of the same hat. The one I have on there now is kind of a raw-edge, scrappy look.

Vivian the dressform couldn't model it because she has no head (although I would appreciate it if nobody reminds her that she has no head... she's not in the best of moods right now), so it's sitting on an upside-down flower vase.

It feels like it's been a reeeeeally long day. Not in a bad way, though, so that's something.

I had to go to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned. No big deal. The dental hygienist (how do you even spell that word?!) turned out to be a girl I went to church and school with our whole lives. Well, most of our lives. You know, from school age to...not school age. Anyway, it was a little odd, seeing her there, all professional and whatnot. I remember her from high school, when she got in with a kind of bad crowd and she turned a little wild...and then, her best friend died in a car accident, and it sounds so horrible but it ended up being a good thing for her because the friend was the main link to this bad crowd. Anyway...I've always liked this girl. She's sweet and friendly and she has tall girl/curly hair problems too.
And she remembered me, which I always am surprised by for some reason. The first thing she said to me was, "You know, I've known you forever and never knew your name was spelled so weird. I like it. I know, I'm being a dork, aren't I? Should we go to the torture chamber now?"

She kept asking me questions while her hands were in my mouth and then laughing and promising to stop. She gushed over the purple in my hair (which I keep meaning to get rid of and am too lazy to do) and was fascinated that I still have two baby teeth.

So that was kinda entertaining.

When I was done there, I went to the grocery store with Starbucks in it, and headed straight for the restroom...and had to wait in line...and the lady that came out didn't bother to warn me that there was no toilet paper.

...isn't that like, common courtesy? Warn a person about these things? I stood and waited for five minutes for nothing. Nothing! So I gave the next lady in line a heads up and went in search of caffeine.

The girl in line behind me in Starbucks struck up a conversation with me about the new holiday drinks and then jumped from that topic to "Oooh, your perfume smells amaaaazing, what is it?" and then skipped onto the subject of babies and Christmas wrapping paper and how bad the parking lot at that store was.

She fit all that into about two minutes.

On the way home, I had to stop for road construction...someone had taken out a guard rail and wound up in the ditch a few weeks back. The guy holding the sign motioned for me to roll down the window so he could tell me I'd be waiting about five minutes, and then he proceeded to talk to me about the deer and elk population and how many golden eagles he'd seen today vs. how many bald eagles he'd seen in his entire life, and then my son asked him if he could have his stop sign, and fortunately we were able to get moving at that point because the guy was starting to tell a story about how one time he'd stolen a stop sign and gone to jail for it.

Nearly every person I've come across today has been super talkative.

Except for toilet paper lady.

Honestly, why couldn't she say something?! Who does that to a fellow human being?

Oh my goodness I love it! I really do. I would steal it if I...uh...ok, no I wouldn't. I would pay money for a hat like that. Truth.

Well, why don't I just look away for a few minutes and then act all surprised when I come back and the hat's gone? :p

I just received an update on my dad.. he had surgery today to have stents put in. They were able to only do the right side, the other is clogged up too badly and is non-functioning. Hopefully he gets to go back home in a day or two.. Thank you God!! :)

So. I might as well just sit here and teach myself how to write with my left hand.
I have nothing to do all day.
As you can tell.

I can't make up my mind.

Coffee?
Or a glass of wine?

The trouble is, I like coffee, but it's sort of late-ish, and I don't want to be awake all night. But oooh, hot coffee...
But then, I also am having a super rare moment of thinking a glass of wine (which I don't normally care for) sounds quite nice, except that it's sort of late-ish, and I would be asleep within minutes of finishing it, and I don't want to be asleep yet. But oooh, a glass of wine...

Decisions, decisions.

...I think I'll have chocolate milk.

How about a glass of lemonade with some mint added to it?

So I had a few hours of sleep, worked, came home and took a nap. Now I don't want to go to bed even though my body probably needs it.

I suggest investing in some decaf coffee. This should solve the want coffee but don't want caffeine to keep me up dilemma.

I had a dream where I wasn't married, I knew my husband, but we weren't together. I was with a guy I liked several years ago.
I felt bad because all of those feelings I felt for him resurfaced while I was still having the dream ( The moment I woke up, those feelings went away), and I woke up feeling like I had just cheated on the most wonderful man in my world..
This feels awful and I'm scared to tell my husband about it, in fear he'll get offended.
I don't feel for this other guy, he was the first guy I fell for, but that was clear back to who knows when. Yeah, we still talk (rarely though), but I feel bad that I even had a dream like that.

We cannot have control over our dreams. Whatever you dreamt was from a distant past. As long as those feelings died with the dream, neither you nor your husband should worry about it. Just pray that God does not allow this dream to recur.

The cat just stole four ornaments off the tree in under a minute.

So it begins.

This means WAR.
