32F is a heatwave and you don't have to wear thermals to walk to the mailbox

What's it like in your neck of the woods?

It's been in the 60's during the day and the 40's at night here in Central Texas. But when I lived in Ohio back in the 1980's, those bitter winter winds blew across the Great Lakes and went right through ya!! I don't miss that at all.

Slept with the sliding glass door open last night in Clearwater Florida I eat your hearts out the rest of the US, as you poor folks are freezing and under cover or in some places lots of snow. It has been lovely here 70's during the day and 50's at night making for very comfortable conditions.

I sleep with my window open in summer. Too dang cold in winter. And I NEVER leave my door unlocked, even if I'm home.. There's been too many break-ins in my apt bldg..

You know you're in New Mexico when every restaurant asks, "would you like red or green with that"...

You know you're in New Mexico when even the mild salsa makes your nose run.

I lived in Detroit for 17 years and 10 years in Lansing. I moved to Florida in 1985. It is sunny right now in Clearwater with temps in the mid-70's. I have recently returned to Florida after an 8 year stay in Maine. Maine's weather is similar to Michigan's - usually cold and wet - miserable.

You know you're in Arkansas when your cousin is getting heat stroke in December...

and then she's crying about how she should never have married you.

You know you're in New Mexico when there are too many stars in a single inch of the sky to count before the sun comes up.
