I made that forum "wait on the Lord" a little while back. It is such a hard thing for us wanting everything now. But for sure one truth we must learn.

My mother does not believe there is God but even she says:
"There is some universal law and justice in the world that punishes the guilty and catches up with them sooner or later"
I've also heard this from another person, my previous neighbor, she's an atheist too.

And tbh it scares me that they believe the justice punishes the guilty but yet do not believe in God who is the one to save them from being punished by that same justice.

I can't believe I missed so much of this party. I read through the first 17 pages just now. Such an encouragement!
We can agree that we are called to encourage our fellow Believers.

I can't believe that in 726 posts, now 727 (as long as I'm not breaking the streak here) only one set of posts tried to break the spirit of unity and Truth shared in this banquet of Scripture and love. As Christ is one with the Father, so we are to be one with Christ, and one with each other, as we are His Body. He does not give us a spirit of dissension, but a Spirit of Love, because God is Love, and His Spirit is within us.

Wait... does that mean I can eat all the rest of these brownies by myself and not think twice about it? Bigger is better, right!?
Oh, nvmd. Another universal truth is that we are to resist temptation... including gluttony... even if they are delicious...
Maybe I'll just post a pic of them on instagram to show them off before the family comes over for dinner tonight and devours them... oh... pride. I'm a mess.

Well then you disagree with hundreds of simple scriptural truths that encourage, impart eternal truth and promote fellowship...doesn't say much for your view and or your stance!
