This is about judging your brother and the liberty that we have. Most say you must act and do as I do, when in fact it is the cross that sets us free and not what we do. But, having faith in the cross allows the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us producing good fruit. By no means is our works accepted. So to condemn a man for not keeping Sabbath or washing his hands is futile and can bring judgement against you. So to speak.
i think he means:
the world would make themselves gods, ready to be the master and judge of every other person and thing.

God is (be verb) light and dwells in light...He is the lofty one who inhabits eternity....hit the speed of light=time stops and a permanent state of eternity! Just a thought.....
