Christians are also a temple of the Holy Spirt, so I don't believe having the Holy Spirit inside you, even inside Jesus, makes a person God (Deity). However, I believe Jesus is Deity for other reasons- such as the fact that the bible says so. In Genesis 1 it says that God is plural by saying, "Let US make man in OUR 'own' (only these being spoken of) image." And we know this refers to God alone because it later says that in the image of God they were created- both male and female. It did not say 'in the image of God AND angels' further proving that the plural refers to God (Deity) alone.
Furthermore, the bible says that God created the earth. And in John 1 and Colossians 1 it says that without Jesus nothing was made that has been made, that ALL things were created BY Him and FOR Him. The whole purpose of the earth is so that Jesus would die in order to give the Father children who will choose to love Him of their own free will.
Also, in Hebrews God the Father calls God the Son 'God'. "Therefore God, Your God has..." And in John 1 it says the Word was WITH God and the Word WAS God. How can you be with yourself and be yourself? Further along John 1 says the Word became flesh and dwelt amount us. Who is the Word? The Word is the one in Genesis Who SAID, "Let there be..." and there was.
Also in Matthew 28 I think verse 17 the apostles worshipped Jesus, yet Jesus did not correct them, why? Because they were not wrong- Jesus is God. Yet Jesus sharply correct about this in Matthew 4 saying, "Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only!" and in Revelation, when John worshiped the angel who spoke to him, he was also sharply corrected, because the angel is not Deity. The angel said he was a fellow servant just as John was, and again we are not created in the image of angels, or any other beings other than God.
Colossians 1 says ALL the fullness of God the Father dwells in Jesus- full/complete would include the Father's Deity. There are so many biblical proofs it is exhaustive to mention them all.
