the problem with this advice is you take the stance that Christ wont work through doctors and mental professionals. This is the equivalent of saying "I don't need to get food, God has my back!". Some people do in fact need mental help from medical professionals and would be unwise to simply just pray the mental problem away. If this person is showing any signs of mental illness, I would advise them to seek help from a counselor.

Christ Can through anything anytime.
such stance there would still be "more of an equivalent to i "i don't have to eat what they have labelled poison already." god let you read ;) and prayer is the loving action, which already beat illness <3
 
How about a "good" Christian counselor? Ive never been big on such things but God can work in these things and you know our minds work in certain ways and even the world has some understanding of how to take captive certain thoughts ...and if one has control of their thoughts they will gain control of the emotions at some point also :)

there might be a verse of taking thoughts captive in obedience to Christ :)
we can't thinks of better way than saying Jesus Christ :p ..maybe say "help" ..it might be receiving Baptism He! :D
if there's a chance Be The Love, yeah :)

serious about the having throat go "Jesus Christ." and "please help." ..to life, to love, to Christ, in hope, what do i know.
"please Lord Jesus Christ help me!" is many many words, but might still be THE prayer for Salvation. throat open grave. Word One
 
Enviornment is a major key factor in what swirls around you, and what land in your spirit. People say it's ok to go to bars, and sit and talk about religion, until the sexy girl comes around and sits next to you, Jesus talk is gone. And a game goes on, where you go, is where the evil influences will be able to confront you. A loveless, depressing controlling enviorment is like witchcraft, trying to make you do something against your will. Just some thoughts, :)
