Good work! I think i would have drawn some pupils in the eyes tho. I don't mind the pencil crayons. Maybe try a corbra on the next one - that's a serious snake!
 
Okay so I drew a puppy and the when I took the pic I had bad lighting and I couldn't get a decent shot wherever I went so it looks kind of crappy but the colors are actually much better than it appears

Looking good, bud. :) TL is interested in the tattoo trade; you two should get matching puppy tattoos based off of your picture. :D (Behind those $5 shades, TL has a $1,000,000 heart...for puppies.)

lol well I have the same kind of heart for cats:D If I ever get a tattoo it will be an epic cross
 
Great pics Blain - you have an artistic bent for sure.

If your concerned with lighting conditions u can experiment when u take photos - maybe try light from a north facing window. Or go to different room and try south facing light - work with the blinds to limit or gain light. Take as many pics as u want digital photography is free!

Wont like the skulls and snakes although it is a good drawing but I dont like the theme, I love the puppy though. Definitely you have talent.
Did you try illustrating Bible verses? That would be amazing. How about a snake crushed by Jesus' foot? :)

well I am not good at drawing ppl so I couldn't draw bible ppl but I am trying to figure out what I can draw from bible verses
