I really like Flyleaf's new album. I also like Brian 'Head' Welch, Children 18:3, Emery, House of Heroes, Run Kid Run and a hundred other non-Christian bands. I'm mostly into rock and metal, but if it glorifies God then I dig it.

Two good bands not listed yet are:
Edison Glass - Christian Indie-ish band
Thrice - not on a Christian label, but the Bible is all over ther music, especially their albums that have come out in the last 4 years (best band ever)

A good soloist is Dustin Kensrue, Thrice's singer/songwriter. He has a Christmas album out, which is phenomenal, and his first album "Please Come Home" is soulful and moving. He tells the story of the Prodigal Son from the father's point of view.

I really have to disagree with you there.
I listen to some really amazing music and 99.9% is Christian.
my current amazing Christian musical love is House of Heroes.
listen to them and tell me they are not good!

hmm the problem with the CCM industry is it tailors itself conclusively to a chrsitian audience while also basing the entire genre on the content, not the music...

Christian music is normally not that great unless the Christian band doesn't label themselves as "Christian" the label is too confining for many artists....

look at the fray... they are a mainstream band, but the band members are Christian and were initially funded and put together by Christians who wanted a Christian but balanced and good voice in the mainstream music venue...

i myself like a lot of indie stuff... and if you want a Christian indie artist, listen to sufjan stevens, he has some awesome stuff, and he is obviusly christian but he is not a "Christian" singer (by that i mean he is not CCM)

If you keep posting information like this, the moderators are going to figure out who you are and ban you again. Is there even one slightly Christian band in there?
