...He didn't send a man to shout in the square to burn the idols and temples when he allowed Israel to be conquered by Babylon.
Wellll.... there was Micha which I'm sure the general populous at that time was were quite amused with:
The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place. For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem? Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof. And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
- Micah 1:1-7
While God directs our paths it doesn't mean we can't do more than just sit around with our hands up in the air saying the sky is falling. We were made to be courageous! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTYSirKUiVw
Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.
- Joshua 23:6-8
We need to stop being complacent and tell people the good news of Jesus Christ and stand up for what's right. For America, this may be our last stand.
Haha that's the answer I was hoping for.Well Jesus never said wage wars against others in my name, so probably your second option.
I agree. I totally repent for the attitude of the OP.A Muslim praying over congress IS a barometer of the continually weakening influence of Christianity in America... but that's probably all it is.
We have a room full of secular humanists pretending to be Christians to get elected, and we think a Muslim praying over them is going to make them worse?
Maybe, but I doubt it.

Muslims, existed long before the Americas were a British colony.
Before there was a British Empire.
Before the ancient Pagan Anglo-Saxons had their language evolve into modern English.
Let's not get hysterical over a Moslem prayer in a Republic who established separation of Church and State.
Worry more about the poor and homeless. Better use of our time.
My issue with "this being our last stand" is this: We've already been warned this would happen. So is our job really to prevent it, or to help bring as many people to heaven with us as we can?
Key words of this statement are "in my name".
In what name was this prayer done?
It was not done in the name of Yah... period.
