Loveneverfails that was you playing the piano on the left? That was pretty good! It's hard to get that kind of timing down just right when you're playing duet with another piano. I'm impressed.

Thanks Lynx! Yes that's me. That performance was from almost exactly a year ago, so looking back I can see things that I would have loved to do better, but that's actually encouraging to me since I can see how I've grown. :) Regardless, I am just obsessed with that piece and I had SO much fun learning it and performing it. ^_^

Yeah I have the same problem with soundtracks I made long ago. I listen to them and think "How did I ever miss that? Man I wish I had kept the project file so I could edit that out."

here's a link to one of my performances from a year ago. I LOVED doing this piece and I've been meaning to share it, but I only just recently got around to getting a copy of it from the office and successfully ripping it onto my computer. The audio is pretty bad in the first few seconds but it gets better once we start playing. ^_^

wow! great performance! I did not know there was a two-piano arrangement of that! Love "Planets." Is that from an arrangement of the entire suite or just the "Jupiter" movement? Either way, nicely done!

Bravo! 'Jupiter' truly is 'The Bringer of Jollity'

Despite the circumstances of its premiere (WW I d.) it’s said that, during rehearsals for the first performance under a young Adrian
Boult, the Queen’s Hall cleaning ladies linked arms and danced during ‘Jupiter’!

So I had too much dough... or not enough loaf pans... so I put the rest in a square cake pan so someone is getting a big square loaf for Christmas.

At last! We FINALLY have a way of telling who is a scammer on this site and who is not.

Lynx is publicly announcing that he "has too much dough."

We'll see who comes running.

Hey Lynx... How YOU doin'? *wink*

I would throw a loaf of bread at you but I can't throw that far and I need all I've got.

The big square loaf will go to my pastor. His whole family likes my bread.

Sugar loaf is what you call it when you have a lot of dough. Sour dough is what you call it when you have money but made it with some unethical choices.

Thanks so much! Yes, Holst himself arranged the entire suite for two pianos. We only did the Jupiter movement, but I'd love to do the rest of the suite, especially Mars! Thank goodness I'm marrying a fellow pianist... :p

We haven't gotten used to you yet. I doubt it's possible to get used to you. Let's just say we tolerate you.

It's clear where John Williams got his inspiration for the 'Imperial March' from...

I wonder if people are that eager about me getting a boyfriend, if I take a picture with anyone of the opposite gender that even remotely sort of young, they think that's my boyfriend.

I dunno. I'm kind of face palming a lot right now.

lol, someone said it without actually saying it. When the person was told who was in the picture with me, and that it was a Christian artist, they said, "Oh!" And I'm just like, "Ooooh.... >.<"

I'm sorry, my dear sister. That's rough.
