I couldn't agree more...while I do not believe anyone deserved to die in these circumstances (Michael Brown, Cops, etc) I do believe if one's life is at the line (in the case of Officer Wilson) then he did what he thought was best to protect himself...such complicated situation for all cops now in the U.S...Hurry back Jesus

Of course, nobody will care. There's been an article of a woman who tweeted that she didn't care about the cops being murdered and it went viral to the point that her social media page was shut down.
Then of course you have the liberals that are barely saying much of anything on the matter. Shows you how hypocritical they are since if they went on about the cops being murdered, it'd contradict their first agenda in the first place and they don't want to look that bad.
Hypocrisy no matter how it's looked at. Telling it like it is makes you a bigot, though.

Reverend Sharpton (sarcasm) has already spun this incident to place himself squarely in the victim spotlight and inflame racial tensions ever higher. He claims he is receiving racist death threats after the killings of 3 police officers.

Micheal Brown was in the wrong place at the wrong time.If he was doing what he should be doing he wouldnt have encountered the cop at all.He charged the cop and put himself in harms way.Shame that he didnt have better sense.In both cases if the men had not been breaking the law they'd be alive today.
Saw this story while eating Christmas dinner a few nights ago at my aunty's house. Very sad story. I saw last night that the son of one of the officers wrote a touching post on the internet. This is the best article I could find describing that.

I agree and cops could have used better judgment ... and there wouldn't be this turmoil.
In the Michael Brown's incident the police officer should have asked & request back up before encounter a suspect who is probably 100 heavier and twice his strength.
In the Garner's situation the suspect said loud that he couldn't breathe which is a form of submission or "throwing in the white towel." Nevertheless, the officer continued the choke till he was lifeless. IMHO, this was a form of execution. Does it really take 4-5 officer to bring a giant man down? The police policies have gotten 'brutal' over time.
In the old days a cop would hit the kneecaps a few times and I don't care how big you are, you will hit the ground quickly. Then twisting the arm behind the back can be very painful and force cooperation from the suspect quickly.
I should know because I worked with a bunch of police officers for a few years. Unless these police dept. change their guidelines, we will be facing anarchy soon.

Heard a lot about Officer Ramos on Fox & Friends this morning during my workout. His family describes him as a "born-again Catholic" who was devoted to his faith in Christ, to his wife and children, and to the people of New York City. His neighbors all say he was a great neighbor, always willing to help out, a man who went out of his way to help people he didn't even know, just because that's who he was. As if we didn't already have a reason to be saddened by this insanity.
The New York Yankees charitable foundation has stepped up today and said that, not only will they pay for the rest of his older son's education -- Ramos was having to work overtime and off-duty security to pay his son's tuition, room and board -- but they'll pay for his 13-year-old's education, too. Almost enough to make me stop hating the Yankees. OK, it probably is enough.
Neighbors describe Liu, and his new bride of just two months, "good people" who just moved to a residential area in Brooklyn. He had been on the NYPD force for seven years and had been decorated twice of heroism.
So how did NYPD officers react when De Blasio showed up at the hospital Saturday night? (To do what? He caused the shooting, what was he going to do or say that would actually have any meaning?) In answer to the first question ...

I don't condone what he did but i knew it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. We live in a society im which the police are above the law that we pay them to enforce. You push people far enough and they will eventually push back. What is it going to take, how many more people have to die before someone realizes that enough is enough.

The Rodney King verdict was a perfect example of a police dept known for its brutality against minorities in LA. Police Comissioner Darryl Gates was known to support the brutality at any cost and when the city exploded in riot causing 69? people their lives and billions of dollars worth of property damages. He was eventually fired because the violence grew to a proportion that the LA police dept. couldn't manage.
There was also sniper fire against LAPD and they pulled back from the combat zone. Please note: it was reported that there were 15,000 AK47 in LA alone. It took the U.S. military to quell down the violence.
Who is to stay it can't happen again in such cities on a larger scale?

The majority of police are here to protect and serve our interests. Isolating a few incidents where the police have been known to abuse their power is unfair and a disservice to the majority of police officers that do their job and walk the beat.
When the police do the right thing it's as if no one remembers, but when they do the wrong thing, no one can forget. Before we portray the entire police force as a malevolent entity, I think it's important to distinguish that what we see on the boobtube vs what happens in the real world are two entirely different things. I have profound respect for the police officers that do their job and serve their communities with dignity and respect. The gangs/mobs of people gathering in the street can shout all the atrocities they want about the police, but I know who keeps my streets safe at night, and I assure you it's not the champions of justice waving signs and picketing city hall.
the po-po always think their above the law just cuz they have guns and wear badges and seem to get away with almost anything. just sayin'.. jmo.. it is most tragic that this happened..

I wonder if this guy who shot the two officers had a bad experience with a police officer and turned against all of them idk and yeah it's evil and it's sickening to hear all this someone asked why officer Wilson didn't have a taser gun? My guess was that he probably think he didn't need it and didn't think of it. I hate it when people give a bad rep about police officers..they were just doing their job..

Two wrongs don't make a right, or does it justify it. If one hates cops so much then don't call them if you get robbed. As a saying goes, where there's power, there's corruption. It's no different in positions that hold any type of power among those lower than them in status and has always been like this. Nevertheless, we still have to live under it.
Hey Blue.....(the po-po) is indicative of ALL of the Police.....Would it be fair to say (THE BLACKS) are all lawless, criminals and non-productive citizens? Or would it be fair to say (the ASIANS) are all members of a gang! ...........OR (the whites) are all racial bigots......
The truth is rather simple.....SOME cops are like that, SOME BLACKS are like that, SOME ASIANS are LIKE that, SOME WHITES are like that.......
NOT ALL! Your statements belie the fact that you have issues with the cops...WHY is that?
