I know this might seem like a stupid question to you. It might seem inappropriate to ask because many will think it is far fetched and unbiblical. But..

If God is all powerful and can be any and everywhere why are Christians taught that God is not in all of us until we receive Him inside? I know I'm a human and can not even begin to understand God and His power but aren't we limiting His ability (in our own minds or words, not that we can actually take away God's ability to do anything) to say He is not in us all? I am genuinely just curious.

Are you asking if God is in ALL people?

Are you asking if God is in ALL people?

Yes, people are saying that if you are not a born again believer then God does not dwell within you. Unless of course you invite Him into your life (becoming saved by believing so on so forth). But isn't that in a way like saying God can not be everywhere? In everyone?

God is in those that are his. . . . You must be born again - That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. So God is not in everyone - He is only in those that are born again of His Spirit. Is that limiting him - I guess that is what you are asking - I don't see it. :)

God is omnipresent, mean He present every where. I think we can't interpret in Letter.

I believe it mean we can't run from His present.

God is all powerful, but He doesn't dwell with those who reject Him.. Its not a question of God having limited ability, but of God allowing believers to invite Him into their lives.

God had His chosen people called the Jews. Jesus has His chosen family and they are called Christians (or believers) who meet certain criteria or requirements.
