Well that would count in my book as my arthritis has taken away my drumming :) let's do it get some more music kicking in this place. Come on all yinz let's have some fun.
I can only play a mean air guitar :((or so I am told?)
Proud to say that I never took a single lesson for it.:p

I can be the guy who claps?
....I do a mean clap too, btw.

totally off-topic (?) -- but not the most heinous kind of derailing.

i wanted to share this picture with you lovely people, so you can share it in kind.. and this thread seems random enough :)

let the "superfoods" jokes commence!
umm...food is...super? lol

random old lady story of the past:
we always had a vegetable garden when the kids were little.
and after they finished school (we homeschooled), they'd go out to weed it
and bring in what was ready to be picked.

i saw loads of green beans, lettuce, spinach, broccoli...but never any snap peas.
so i asked them why? and they replied, weeding is hungry work, mom!

yeah...those horrible children would pull a weed, eat a snap pea, pull a weed...
oh, well. at least they were organic (before that was such a big thing).
and the kids ate their veggies. :)

Can we derail this thread to the topic of Jello?
I mean,....how come no one ever talks, or WANTS to talk about Jello?

Seriously.

Doesn't Jello actually deserve its own thread?

Jello is neat.
It can be orange.:D

Oh man, I am laughing too much over here.
Thank you Ellie....I needed that.:D
Thanks for humoring me with my subpar air guitar talent, and weird obsession with Jello!:D

those guys are having WAY too much fun! haha
thanks...my men will love them. :)
Yeah those guys are fun to watch and listen too. You have the basic rhythm but you can hear their different "styles" when they each play their "solo".

It can be purple too.
Purple is yummy....I think?
I am one of those weird people who don't like grape flavors. I'll eat grapes but as far as jello, jelly, juice and such I don't like them. I like the red jello.

Grape is good.
But "purple" flavored is different.
I'm not sure what "purple" tastes like?
....not grapes though.:D
Jello and Kool Aid have cornered the market on "color" flavors......?...whatever that might be..?

I used to play a lot of instruments, including most of the band instruments, piano, guitar, and some weird things like ukelele and recorder (I used to teach them in elementary school.)

Since my hands have gotten bad, I have gone to just flute, which has a light touch, so not too hard to play these days. But no youtube videos. I like classical to play, and also to jam with our worship band and of course, jazz!

Angela, did you think of trying theremin - it requires no touch at all! :D
I just love that instrument and would love to learn playing on it! Just as long as I dont have to look into the scores as I hate that! LOL

The greatest Bach player on the piano hands down. Glenn Gould
These two were done 25 years apart notice the slow downedness and particularness in his style 25 years later.
