No. I am a sinner saved by grace, through my Faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. My brother, are you a want-a-be Jew, or a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Brother you are an expert at dodging the question and running down a rabbit trail. When someone asks you a question, why don't you stop and answer it? You started this part of the discussion by telling everyone that you keep the Sabbath, and that it is on the day that we non believers (what your answers imply) keep it. If we are to keep the Sabbath on Saturday, I ask you to begin with Commandment "Remember the Sabbath, and keep it Holy" and explain away why you don't obey each and every verse that relates to the Sabbath. If you make a statement, and expect us to accept it as true because you observe it, then you must explain away why you do or do not keep each verse that you do not keep.

I apologize if I have offended you, but your answer to VCO's had absolutely nothing to do with his question that you presented earlier, and appears to me to be an insult.

Again I humbly apologize if I am wrong.

God's people do not need to be baptized, or esteem one day above another nor do anything at all except believe Christ has done it all. We need to rest in and trust in the Lord for he has done it all. This rest is so precious because we cannot lose his Salvation if we fail to do something. This is his commandment: that we believe in his Son Jesus Christ and love the brethren. If your trusting in something you do or have done, GET RID of it and trust only in him. And ALWAYS love the brethren, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Good grief, I hate that christians make this statement " well I'm just a sinner saved by grace" well stop sinning and call that devil a liar. You are a blood bought child of God and if your faith is placed in the cross of Christ, then the power of sin is broken and are no longer yoked by it. No you are not perfect but are free from the bondage of sin.

I am a child of God set free by the cross of Christ. Amen

That's good preaching right there, I don't care who you are, that's good.

Yea Billy...its very hard to get a strait answer on any of these guys who claim to be keeping the Sabbath according to the law...they seem to just not work that day....a whole lot of lazy people to that! But when you ask them about the true biblical standards for keeping the Sabbath they seem to just throw insults and change the topic?

Nice way to bundle everyone into one group and then slander them. Certainly not all who believe the Commandments are valid do this?

There is only one leader of the body, and that is Yahshua.

John 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."

church (n.)
Old English cirice, circe "church, public place of worship; Christians collectively," from Proto-Germanic *kirika (cognates: Old Saxon kirika, Old Norse kirkja, Old Frisian zerke, Middle Dutch kerke, Dutch kerk, Old High German kirihha, German Kirche), probably [see note in OED] from Greek kyriake (oikia), kyriakon doma "Lord's (house)," from kyrios "ruler, lord," from PIE root *keue- "to swell" ("swollen," hence "strong, powerful"); see cumulus. Phonetic spelling from c.1200, established by 16c. For vowel evolution, see bury. As an adjective from 1570s.

I Agree...what confuses me though is I'll hear from a Seventh Day Adventist keep the Sabbath keep the Sabbath don't eat pork (some of my friends call it Devil Meat), okay so then this is where I catch them on their "righteousness"...I simply ask them about adultery and pre-marital sex and pornography, to which I get a response of well it's not easy to stay pure...blah blah blah...to which I agree sure it isn't But why are you holding keeping the Sabbath which isn't even "Saturday" above all other commandments? So you're telling me you can lie cheat steal, kill, commit adultery but as long as you're keeping the Sabbath? I just don't understand it sometimes...Jesus died on the cross to set us free, and not tie us down to the law HE IS THE EMBODIMENT OF THE LAW FULFILLED.

I agree in general with what your saying ...everyone who claims to be keeping the Law of Moses is basically a hypocrite...but Saturday is the Sabbath by the written code of the law...and there is a whole lot more rules to keeping it than just being lazy.

See taking it a step further with what you said in regards to the Law of Moses and hypocrisy...if you say I am keeping the law of Moses in essence you are saying that Jesus Christ never fulfilled it when he died on the Cross...so you need to fulfill it...sounds like pride to me...I mean do we really need to work to fulfill something that Christ already has? If they want to attempt to fulfill the impossible that's their prerogative...I'll stick with Christ who fulfilled it for me :)

Well Hiz you seem to be a little more serious about trying to keep the law than these guys...tell us all the rules in the law about keeping the Sabbath and how you do it?
Gladly. I do want to start by saying, I do not walk perfectly, I have done right things, but im not perfect, so please.

The Sabbath is a day to re-connect with Yah. People say, "I keep the Sabbath every day" not talking down on this mindset, but in reality it is IMPOSSIBLE. People have to work for their own gain, people have to do chores for their own gain, etc.

However, the Sabbath is a day set aside for the work/will of Yahweh, for you have heard how the priest are blameless for working on the Sabbath? Well who is the High Priest now? If one is a follower, they would listen to this High Priest, for He says:

Matt 24:20, "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day, For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning of the world to this time--no, nor ever will be."

SO He clearly thought Sabbath would still be kept.

and He said:

Matt 12:12 "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

So we see truth in doing righteousness on the Sabbath.

SO what does it all mean? Well one would have to look at what the pharisees did to the Sabbath, I will explain ONE thing. Nobody seems to care about the error of the pharisees, but in reality it is VITAL to understanding Yahshua's interaction with them, If you dont understand their real error, you will miss the Messiah's intent. The pharisees mad it so people would sit in their house and stre at a wall instead of doing and learning of Yah. They even had distance regulations that could be altered by burying food and placing a bed on the ground... you are proably lost concerning, "
burying food and placing a bed on the ground" exactly,. it is all distraction away from the true intent.

Is preparing food evil? NO.

Is washing my house evil? NO.

Is working out evil? NO.

However none of these are the "things of Yahweh"

Sabbath is for the things of Yahweh.

None is better than another, but if you have never dedicated a entire 24 hr period to Him and His will, you can not understand. And half edication is not dedication. It took me a month or so of Sababths to really enjoy focusing on Him, that began to change my walk and my understanding of the Spirit.

The world draws one away and the Sabbath helps to bring that focus back.

He created us, I trust He knows how to train us.

Isayah 58:13-14, "If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in aidle conversation: Then you will find your joy in Yahweh; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father--for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."

Do not kindle a fire on the Shabbat.... is not about a physical fire.

also is it evl to travel? NO. But that time spent traveling could have been spent ministering, helps others, etc etc etc..... and no I dont behave perfectly and feed the homeless every Sabbath. Many Sabbath are spent studying, teaching, sharing, learning, talking about Yah and His principles with other people that already believe...

Ohh and before I can take anyone serious that wants to tell me Sabbath has been changed, I would need you to explain what you think this verse means, because if you are not willing to explain then I assume you have ill intention, a man of Yah can consider all Scripture. If you have no answer for this verse you are clearly not learned in the word (no disrespect, but a learned man, guided by Yah IS GOING TO KNOW THIS VERSE.

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times and Laws..."

Scripture says the change is evil.... but Im told here its oh so goody!

"listen" is word #8085 שָׁמַע shama` {shaw-mah'}

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)

wow Jesus work on the sabbath

[h=1]John 5:8-17King James Version (KJV)[/h]8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
