Is it just me, or are there about four threads on the front page that are basically the same thing under different titles?

YUCK, 120?! Ugh, that's horrible. I think the hottest it gets here is right around 110, which is bad enough.

The coldest it's ever gotten in the town I live in is... -65, I think? That was a long time ago, though. Still, it's not uncommon for it to be -30 for a couple weeks every winter here, sometimes -40. When we have cold snaps like that, it's a huge relief to get back to even 0 degrees.

I'll take sub-zero temperatures over 100+ temps any day, though. I hate the heat, and I hate it worse if it's humid.
I would take the cold temps over the hot ones any day. But the cold is not good for my skin. I've got acute dry skin. As much as I hate the heat and humidity (it gets to 75% here), at least it does not make my skin chap. :(

I feel the same way too.

prayers would be appreciated over a job situation. This may or may not be a wise move.

I suppose the choice will come if/when offered, in which case I won't know if I shoukd stay put ir not...

Pray I follow the Lord's leading.

I want to do an instrumental. WHAT SHOULD I DOOOO. I can't do Christmas songs for another 350-some days!

I don't like singing a whole lot, and I definitely don't wanna record that, because then I'd actually have to listen to it and I don't want to hear what it sounds like outside of my head. :p (It's proven your singing and voice sounds different to you inside your head than when you hear it in say, a recording. And I don't like the way mine sounds.)

Waste of a day when finding one's self asleep til over half of it. Now it's being wasted even more over things that I shouldn't even give the light of day to. But, as per usual, it's me. -_- -contemplates on going back to bed-

Ha! And here I went and had too little sleep and obligated to pick up the slack others around the workplace here are leaving. The universe balances itself out in odd ways. :p

I'm getting coffee on the way home. Zzzz...

*sigh* Conflict, everywhere. Hopefully I didn't lose my best friend over it.

She did some church bashing and my pastors wife saw it. She wasn't trying to attack her, she was really trying to discuss with her and trying to help her realize something. And I supported my pastors wife in what she was saying. And now that post has been taking down.

I can't say anything much further on it besides the fact my friend is Christian, but she does have chips in her shoulder and I've started to see she cane easily take offense. The topic that was discussed in the post that she took down is too inflammatory of a discussion and too controversial within the church to say anything more in public.

just used some $$ I had sitting in my Paypal account to buy a glass grinder. I guess I am getting more serious about the stained glass work.

I'm trying to empty my HSA, Health Savings account, before the end of the year, tomorrow. I bought 35.00 worth of bandaids today. I need to buy some reading glasses and anything else this card will cover. I have like 60 bucks left to spend. I see some more bandaids in future. My Daughter really liked the Frozen one's.

You know what's weird?

Kids. Kids are the weirdest little weirdos I've ever met.

My daughter hides food in her high chair. She appears to be eating it, every time I look over at her, she's eating...but then when I clean up her chair at the end of the day, there's always somehow pieces of crackers and cereal and fruit snacks and occasionally bits of fruit or sandwich tucked underneath the cover on the chair. She's not dropping it, because that couldn't get it between the chair and the cover. Is she storing it for later? Hiding it because I've given her too much? Conducting Top Secret Experiments on the food...or on ME?

My son jumps. All. The. Time. Basically, if he's standing up, he's jumping. Like he's got springs in his feet and he can't help it. And then sometimes I find him sitting on the floor in his bedroom by the changing table, talking to one of the cats who likes to lay on the bottom shelf, and when I ask what he's doing..."I'm teaching Zelda how to talk, Mom." Like...DUH, that's obvious, isn't it?

My daughter yells...just to hear her own voice, I think. Right now, she's sitting on the floor, holding a measuring cup and waving it around, and yelling "DAAAAGOOOOO dago, DAAAAAGO baggooooo EGGOOOOOOOOO EGGO EGGO". Oh, but now she's stopped, stood up, run over to the front door, and is just standing there staring around. Maybe she's forgotten why she went in there. Maybe she's just like her mother.

I wish I could say I don't know where they get it...but my mom told me once that when I was around two or three years old, I would get a sheet of paper, put it on the floor, and then push it around with my forehead.

Yeah...kids. Weirdos.

MissChris: I am DEFINITELY staying in Tennessee. If it gets over 90 or below 20 (not -20, just plain 20) it is remarkable.

I can't say anything about weird kids. When I was a child I used to bite the dog's ear and pull her tail because she made these really neat sounds when I did. I'm lucky she was a loyal blue heiler who knew I was part of the family - she would just lie down and howl until mom came to rescue her.

I can't decide if that's adorable or scary :p

If I don't see you guys in chat tonight, keep me in your prayers. I'm struggling right now with a lot of different things.
