I think it is important to note that the women who found the empty tomb were still observing the Sabbath.

so breaking bread was a day to day thing not a Sunday thing alone interesting
Good point. Breaking Bread is just an idiom for eating a meal together and not any particular religious ritual.

Christians were not assigned a single holy day. The disciples began assembling on the first day of the week, you know, that day Jesus arose right after dawn, after the end of the High Sabbath which included the weekly last day of the week. He arose on Sunday. I arose with Him. Have you? I arose to new life in Chirst, and find assembling to worship Him quite fitting on the first day of the week, what men call "Sunday". Of course there is no "Saturday" or "Sunday" in scriptures, only the Jewish calendar.
Is dawning here going towards the Sunday morning ?
Matthew 28:1-7King James Version (KJV)

28 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

They rested on the Sabbath and went to the tomb to apply spices on the next day after the Sabbath.

Remember that the Jewish day starts and ends at Sundown.
So if it were just barely light or whatever is irrelevant.
The first day started approximately 12 hours earlier at sundown.
Nobody goes to a graveyard at night to apply spices. So they went at about first light in the morning on Sunday.

Y'all still cannot see, having eyes to see and ears to hear you cannot hear, that Jesus is the Sabbath. You cannot have rest without faith in Jesus and Him crucified.

Abraham never saw or heard a single one of those commandments that were delivered to Israel 430 years after him. (see the little letters? I am whispering. You missed it. Is O.K. Now you know)
[h=1]Genesis 20 King James Version (KJV)[/h]20 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.
4 But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?
5 Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

They say Lord Lord, but refuse to let Him rule over them...
Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Matthew tells of the time of the earthquake and resurrection. Hear him, "In the end of the Sabbath (late on Sabbath), as it began to dawn TOWARDS the first day of the week,(at evening) came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher. And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the STONE from the door, and sat upon it "... and the angel said unto the women, I know ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is NOT here: for he is RISEN (Matthew 28:1-6)
This occurred late on Sabbath day, just before sunset Saturday (as the Sabbath ended at sunset). (Levitucs 23:32; Mark 1:32) T

Levitucs 23:32
It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Mark 1:32
And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

The tomb was found empty each time. Matthew has told of a visit late on the Sabbath at which time Jesus had risen. Jesus arose just before sunset Sabbath (Saturday), going toward the first day which starts at sun set the first day did not arrive as yet
